I'M GOING TO HAWAII!!!!!!

Woo Hoo!

So I found out yesterday that I get to go to Hawaii on a company trip, all expenses paid! Gina (one of the hosts of our morning show) is getting married in Hawaii in 3 weeks and the entire morning show will be going to Hawaii, well Maui to be exact, for the wedding. They decided it would be fun to tie the station into her wedding and include both fly-aways that would be given away on air to listeners, and live broadcasts from Hawaii. Since they will be broadcasting and hosting a party for the winners of the fly-aways they needed someone that can set-up the equipment and manage the winner party. Apparently they wanted that someone to be me. They ran everything by corporate and told them they wanted me to go. I've known about this for about a week now, but just got the call from the big guys that I was going to go! I still don't have many details on exactly when we are going, or in what hotel we are staying, but I do know that I am staying in the same hotel everyone else is and I have heard that it is a 5 star hotel directly on the beach. The company is paying in full for airfare, hotel and I would assume expenses while I am down there, not to mention I get paid my regular pay for working. So, all in all I am actually getting paid to go to Maui. The best part is that we will be down there for what I assume is 2 weekdays and 2 weekend days so that means I will really only be working a few hours the first few days we are down there, and the rest of the trip will be open for me to do whatever I want. Anyway, if you can't tell, I'm pretty excited about this.

In other news things are going great with Mckell. We are completely in love with one another and we both feel great. I am however starting to get scared by my love for her. I fall more and more in love with her every day that goes by and I'm starting to worry about our future. My current plans involve me leaving in about a year for flight school in New Mexico. Her current plans are to be going to school here for awhile, but I'm not so sure I could be away from her for 2 years at the rate things are going right now. I know it's early in the relationship to worry about these kinds of things, but I know from previous experiences that when I love someone as much as I love Mckell, the relationship is probably going to be lasting a long time. I talked to her about this last night and she made me feel really good about things basically telling me whatever we need to do to be together, we will do. I like hearing that she is that serious about the relationship too. Sometimes I worry that I am much more in love with her than she is with me, but I know that is not the case. I just love the feeling of being in love with someone and having them love you back. It's one of the most amazing feelings one can experience. I truly love this girl and I really hope things work out between us. She would make an absolutely amazing wife.

Did I just say that?

Subject:Turbo Tax Sucks
Time:4:14 pm.
Mood: pissed off.
Ok, so just a quick bitch here... I got my W-2's in today and decided I would try to file my taxes online this year instead of over the phone as I usually do. I saw a thing on the news about how you can file free online via the IRS.gov web site so I figured I'd give it a try. I ended up using Turbo Tax which said it was completely free for people under 25, I even filled out a little survey to make sure it was free for me. So I spend about 20 minutes filling everything out and putting in all my information, I go through entering my bank info and other info so I could have my refund deposited directly into my account when I get the question "How would you like to pay your $19.99 preporation fee to Turbo Tax?" and then it asks me whether I want it automatically deducted from my refund (which costs and additional $20) or whether I want to pay by credit card. What the fuck happened to FREE???? Seriously, there were three options on how to pay: By Credit Card, By Automatic Deduction, or Back. Anyway, I'm pissed! I know my way around this kind of shit and I am confident I didn't make any mistakes. Someone should sue these bastards!

DON'T USE TURBO TAX ONLINE!!!
