So, I'm going to this damn contraption prom thing. I'm feeling quite scandalous I must say, but considering I woke up still inhibriated, that should say something. Ah, a teacher's woes.... |

This really isn't my idea of a fun weekend. I mean, really. Assigning me to chaperone prom? Get real. So what's next, cab service? |

Alexis dear, I need to talk to you about your schedule, so if we could meet sometime this week, that would be superb. Sat in with the retiring Chemistry teacher and all I will say is - bud, it's about time you retire. I talked to him though, nice man *shrugs* I checked out the soccer team...good group of guys, I was impressed. That is all. I am tired and....*smirks* company waits. |

Could this place be anymore like Beaver fucking Cleaver's high school? *stares at the ceiling* I have a TA, Alexis if I remember correctly. She says she likes science, can't argue with that. I might walk around campus tomorrow, get more of a feel for the place, see what it has...to offer. I have heard, however, to stay away from the cafeteria. I will take definite heed to that warning. Monday, I sit in with the retiring teacher. Note to self: buy some more coffee. |

I can't believe they stuck me at a boarding school. Of all the kickass places in the whole FUCKING country, I get sent here. Early at that. Aaron, you have to get used to the atmosphere...or more so, they have to get used to you and your unorthodox methods. Remember that these are high school kids. I will admit that I'm pretty unorthodox. I know what has to be taught, what has to be presented. I just...choose to do it so I don't see everyone's head drop at the mention of the Periodic Table. Chemistry is so much more than people realize. I wanted to work as a lab technichan to pay for my doctoral school, but things took....an unexpected and I end up here. At a high school. Teaching Chemistry a little earlier than I expected. And helping coach the soccer team next year. I really want to know who did the digging and found out about my damn soccer scholarship. Believe me, I will find you....but for now, I will relish in my soccer glory days and prepare myself for this. Maybe go watch a game this weekend and see how they are, the key players, all that. *shrugs* Who doesn't want to relive their youth? *smirks* While I sit here and wonder how the hell my life took this turn, I have to wonder if this is such a bad thing. I can still save to pay for my school and have a few extra experiences to plaster on my resume as well. *twirls finger in the air sarcastically* Woohoo. So, Dover, welcome Mr. Hathaway. |
