So today steve and i had planned on painting the trim on the new window that we put in. In order to do this we had to move the dresser that is right next to the window, so we did that and then put some cauk in the spot we didn't get last time since we didn't move the dresser that time. Then we went to the store to get some painters tape and some paint for the trim. The room is kind of a green but not a bright green, and we are going for a trim color that looks like the color of cherry wood. I don't know if we'll achieve that but that's what we are trying for. So we went and we picked a color and got a little bit of it to see if it will look okay. The guy who got us the paint was an ass. While we were there we heard people talking about the rodeo, which is happening this week. Steve wanted to take me but he had forgot, so we decided to go even though it was like late afternoon and steve had to work around seven or eight with his brother. But we went anyway. What it is is like a big fair that's pretty much exactly like the Big E. They have a carinival part where there's rides and games and then buildings where they have the live stock, cows and horses and stuff. And lots of food stands all over the place, and then some buildings with lots of crafty stuff stands and things that are being sold and buildings with educational booths. There was one we went into that had a booth thing about snakes and some guy talking about how not to get bitten by snakes. I just wanted him to show me the snakes but he wouldn't shut up. Then there was another building where there were a bunch of animals you could pet. I got to pet the baby goat and it was soft. There was a cashmere goat too. Does cashmere really come from a goat? But the sad part was then at the end there was big display of meat and all the cuts and where they come from on the animals and stuff. Also i saw a bat that flew right by me. That was cool. They do have an actual rodeo but that's like a show you have to buy tickets for and come at some certain time and stuff and we didn't get tickets for that. Steve likes all the scary rides and wants to go on them but i don't want to go on any. I played one game where you throw little plastic balls into floating cups but i didn't get any in.
So we are going to do the painting another day. I'm maybe going to do it tomorrow while steve works. The fair was fun, i liked it.
The movie daredevil was on tv, and there was the scene with the rain where he "sees" how she looks because the rain is hitting her.. and then after that they go do it by the fire. Steve says, how come they don't just do it in the shower so he can see her naked. I say, good point.
