so guess what? i got a rabbit. yep that's right a rabbit. Steve got him for me on saturday. he is dark grey with grey/blue eyes. He's tiny right now, but i think he's a baby, we're not sure how old he is though, or what kind of rabbit he is. We also don't know if he is a he or a she. You can tell if you look, if you learn what to look for, but i don't want to do that until he/she is more settled in. Right now he lives in two connected boxes. One that's mostly closed and one that's open on the top but covered with wire. Even though it totally doens't look like it, he can fit through the holes in the wire. He's just starting to figure out that that means maybe he can climb out of the box.. uh oh. When we first got him he was scared of everything and just sat all crouched down and wouldn't move. But now he's a happy bunny and he runs around in his box and we take him out he smiffs around and runs around in circles and does this crazy jump and run thing, that sort of looks like he's having a seziure for a second but it's just because he's crazy. The first day we got him right away he drank a whole bunch of water, and they gave us some pelleted food, and he ate a whole bunch of that, and he ate some lettuce, two carrots and a stalk of celery. All in one day. and he's like.. the size of a large rat or so. So.. he's not picky.. that's good. But after the first day he's eaten less. We are gonna build him two cages. an outdoor one and an indoor one. Because i like to have him indoors but there's not enough room in here to build him a big cage only a little one. We have to go buy a bunch of stuff for him. Some pet store stuff, some stuff to build the cages with, and find a feed store to get him some timothy hay, which is supposed to be his main diet.
For easter they had a barbeque, which was hard to do, because it was pouring and cold. So they barbequed the food but everyone else stayed inside. then we ate the food. Then the rain stopped and we had an easter egg hunt. I was disapointed with the easter egg hunt. They had like around 500 plastic eggs with candy in them, and um four kids plus margarette to hunt of them. But they didn't even hide them, they just put them all over the ground. Granted, with that many eggs, you're gonna run out of hiding places, but if you don't Hide the eggs then what's the point of having a hunt? I tried to hide them but then i had a whole bunch left and they were going to start already. After that they got out the tons of confetti eggs. They are egg shells with confetti inside. You take them and break them over people's heads and get them all messy. I wanted to be able to like take the eggs and smash them onto someone's head and have the crack that way but you can't.. you have to like crack them in your hand and then throw or drop all the confetti on someone's head. Anyway, i didn't put any on anyones head except steve's, but everyone put them on my head, because they think it's fun because i never had them before. They had like hundreds of eggs because everybody bought a whole bunch, like i think there were three or four people that bought like 40, 50 dozen.
