: The Friday that was Good
The Monkey went to the doctor today for a variety of reasons, one of which was apparently to get her mouth dyed purple! It is cute but a little freaky and a lot insane. She is napping in the jury room right now while I continue to cheat Uncle Sam. Other things to report from the doctor's visit:
- She is a shrimp, at 13 pounds, 6 ounces. She has to gain 10 ounces in the next 2 weeks before she turns 6 months in order to be above the 10th percentile.
- The crazy nurse still insists that she is a boy, even when naked.
- She is a most agreeable little baby and adorable to boot!
So Ammon brought her into my work on their way home from the doctor's because J (see code: boss) is out looking at dogs at the pound and I'll probably leave early today anyway on account of it being a holy day and all.
Have you ever tried Hempz lotion? It smells soooo good.... I keep it out on one of my desks at work and my job sharing partner (an arch-conservative and perhaps closeted homosexual) keeps pushing it back by the computer speaker and I think I figured out why-- it has a huge picture of a pot leaf on it! Hahaha! I'm going to start leaving legalize marjuana bumper stickers around and tell my co-clerk to say that I have a lot of sympathy for our criminal defendants who are charged with marjuana possession/dealing.
