He'd sent Tommy out on a false errand three hours ago, so he could make dinner and bake a cake and create the perfect scene for Tommy's birthday. Part of him had wanted to call Tommy's family and have them there, but he knew he couldn't do that. Not yet.* Happy birthday to you, *He hums softly under his breath while he heads downstairs to check on dinner -- Tommy's favourite and he hoped he made it right. At least he hadn't been stupid enough to try making schnitzel whatever that was. He'd settled for meatballs and mashed potatoes with fried onions. Then he walked over to the counter to put the finishing touches on Tommy's cake. Just a dab of frosting, then the decorating. In a matter of seconds he was done, then he ran upstairs to shower and change. He couldn't wait to celebrate Tommy's 30th birthday with him!* |

*Mardy shuts the door, leaning against it before he smiles. He's not thrilled that he lost, but at least he'd taken a set of Novak. He didn't lose in straight sets after beating Roger. He smirks to himself, then sets his bags down and sighs. He wants Tommy, but Tommy's probably still in his own room, wrapped in covers, sick. And he's okay with that, really, but he'd love to be able to curl up with Tommy and snuggle and then maybe have more sex as a consolation-slash-congratulations thing. He sighs again and pushes off the door, heading for the bathroom. He'll call room service to congratulate himself and maybe after a shower and a nap, he'll go check on Tommy and at least get some of the cuddling he wants.* Dammit, I wish he were here though. *Is muttered to himself as he strips off his clothes on his way into the bathroom to run himself a bath, instead of a shower.* |
