Wow, what a day, what a day! Nicole and I embarked on a redunkulous spend-fest today that was totally insane. We went to Altamonte where we barely found ANYTHING (she found like 2 shirts, I didn't get anything). Later, we decided to hit up the TJ Maxx and Ross across the street. It was chaos just crossing the road due to lunatic traffic and such. We finally made it to the other side. We did TJ Maxx first where again, Nicole got a couple shirts, I didn't get a damn thing. So after that, we head over to Ross, a couple stores down. Wow, it was da bomb...da STINK bomb! That store had the most rotten smell ever! It smelled like someone just planted a rotten egg every few feet. It was disgusting, but it was hilarious watching everyone who entered the store cover their nose and make faces. We later went to Millenia which was ANOTHER trip due to rush hour on I-4 which we ever-so-conveniently rode into. When we finally got there, it was my turn to spend some dough. I bought the Paul Frank "I <3 Carbs" shirt I'd be dying to get. After that, we went into the Guess? store just to check it out, and I wound up buying this $70 white cowboy-style dress shirt. It was crazy. I can't believe I bought that. Oh well, it was exactly what I'd been looking for to go w/my pinstripe pants, and I've been dying to make a compulsive uber-expensive purchase like that. Although I may have made a bad decision, I must admit that it felt damn good. The shirt is really cute though. I also bought some cute jeans from Pac Sun, and a super-cute DKNY shirt from Macy's. It's sorta similar to the one I have, but different, and I thought it'd be neat to kinda continue that shirt for the new year. We also went to the Marshall's in the area, and I found this great shirt that says "HOLLYWOOD" all cute for $5! That was great! All in all, I spent about $150 on 4 shirts and a pair of pants. That would make everything average out to about $30 an item, so I guess I didn't do TOO bad.... On our way home we had to stop by a Denny's to get this coupon book thing for Nicole's mom. We then went to this McDonald's/gas station place for some chow. We hate going in, so we went through the drive-thru. Since we had so much stuff, we parked to eat. We're gettin our grub on when outta nowhere we just see this car (parked right in front of the convenience store doors) drive forward, hit a lady standing there, pin the lady between the car and the doors. The door busted back, completely broken off. The driver of the car reversed, dragging the lady, who was now stuck under the car, backward. The woman wound up being pinned beneath the car. It was INSANE. The driver meant to reverse out of the parking lot, but put her car in drive, creating a catastrophe. The woman who was hit was hurt, but okay, and she was taken to the hospital. It was amazing how fast the police and fire and ambulance people were there. It took like no time. Soon Channel 9 news was there, trynna film the scene. There were Nicole and I, just standing off to the side, all up in the junk, chompin on fries and a quarter-pounder. I'm sure that looked lovely. We couldn't believe that we had first-hand eye-witnessed something like that. Surprisingly, they didn't ask us for a statement. Yeah, today's been crazy, but before the hectic drama at the end of the night, we did have tons of fun. So far I have like 12 shirts for school and like 10 bottoms, but I still really need more pants. I dunno, I'll see, cuz I still really wanna do som'ore shopping. XOXO Blake
