Livejournal announced that they've sold out to SixApart today. This is beyond worrying for me. I live at LiveJournal. I've made great and hopefully lifelong friends there, I have seven journals, I spend all my freetime on the site. If SixApart fucks it up, what am I going to do? Where will I go? Everyone I know will scatter and I may never talk to them again.
Well, at least I have week old cold pizza and a comfy black sweater. Its the little things that help.

Is it sad that I'm already listening to Christmas music? Disregard the fact that I'm an atheist for a moment and just consider the timing. It seems a bit.. premature.
Haven't been on here in forever, in fact if I weren't so vain as to search my lj username on google I might not have remembered at all. For that matter I think I also have a GJ somewhere....
Blurty doesn't seem to be highly used though. There are only a handful of communities and people who have interests in common with me. I somehow thought this place might be hoping. There are plenty of people on LJ who gripe about the large access people under 18 have to NC-17 materials on the site. You'd think that would make them hunt out a forum which limited that accessibility. Or maybe I'm just crazy.
For that matter this is a better place than palmofyourhand to post sensitive materials as positively no one knows its here. However this is a pain in the ass to update. I like my Semagic. :((

Anyway, I wandered over because lj is boring me at the moment. Apparently I no longer know how to have non-journal fun. Kind of sucks.
