After many series of tests, igus has implemented an iglide* bearing on the moving tips of its fiber rods to increase the torsional strength. These modified fiber rod heads can better cope with the extreme, twisting movements often demanded in robotic applications at the touch of a button. The new tips are now used in all Triflex R fiber rod assemblies. The interior support fiber rods are designed to mount a designated section of Triflex R Energy Chain* in a fixed position. This reduces torsion and creates pre-tension through this part of the plastics cable carrier, preventing it from interfering with certain work areas around a robot. Triflex R was developed to protect moving cables and hoses on 6-axis robots used in demanding industrial environments, such as in automotive production plants or welding applications. The cable management system is able to move multi-dimensionally in all axes and can twist up to 380 degrees per yard, enabling easy movement through complex configurations. The smooth, tubular design also permits the cable carrier to glide around the exterior of the robot without catching. Triflex R is available in enclosed and light versions. 中大博士发帖诉遭导师虐待 晚报讯 据新快报报道一名自称是中山大学生命科学学院在读博士网友近日在网上发帖，指名道姓称 遭到导师虐待。由于帖子内容均以当事人真实姓名叙述，顿时在网上成为热门话题。
【发帖】学生们遭受“精神屠宰”
网友“伤心博士”在天涯上发帖讲述了他和一些硕士博士研究生遭受过的经历。帖子标题直接点名了批评对象，“中大微生物专业艾云灿教授”，接着直入主题，称“写这些文字的时候，我在流泪。一个又一个崭新的面孔走进艾云灿老师实验室，不久又不惜任何代价离开或准备离开。身为其中一员，我看到的不幸实在太多。我最终决定把真相说出来，希望有良知的人们给以评断”。
帖子里详细描述了艾教授种种行为，指名道姓地描述了曾经有学生遭受到该教授打骂，“每次他训话都要2－3小时，有的女生被训导到晚上实验楼关门也不许离开，以至于其不敢回寝室。有的女生顶不住晕倒，艾老师立刻确认该女生是低血糖，并找人证明他没有攻击她。只要艾老师生气，随时都可能飞脚踹人。要命的是你永远不知道下一脚会在什么时候飞起。”
整篇帖子除了描述了多名研究生遭受的恶劣待遇外，更列出了该教授所带过的从2004级到2007级硕士和博士研究生的悲惨结局，而且所有当事人均以真名出现。在帖子最后，网友“伤心博士”自称有30分钟录音作为证据，并以此证明自己所称绝对是事实。
【调查】当事研究生：内容基本属实
记者昨日就此帖内容展开调查。昨日下午在中大生命科学学院大楼，记者辗转找到了艾云灿教授现在带的研究生王云（化名）。
王云说，“我不敢说其他人怎么样，但就我的经历而言，里面的说法基本属实。”对于帖子里提到过他曾经遭受过艾教授打骂一事，王云也没有否认。
记者还了解到，昨日上午中大校领导和研究生院的主要领导组成了一个独立小组，专门召集了七八名艾教授带的研究生了解情况。
【回应】艾教授：帖子内容不属实
昨日下午记者拨通了艾教授的电话，当时他正在开会，“现在院校的老师正在和我协商处理这个问题。”对于网上的一些议论，他表示，“学校正在调查这个事，虽然现在还没有结果，但我简单地说，里面的内容不属实。”
对于网上提到的一些具体事例，艾教授表示一切以学校的调查结果为准，在调查结果出来之前，他静待结果，“我也是第一次碰到这样的事情。”

Google网页广告遭木马软件劫持 正紧急营救 据外电报道，罗马尼亚的安全公司BitDefender称，谷歌在其网页上放置广告的 位置被一种木马软件劫持。这种木马软件用不同的提供者的广告取代谷歌网页上的文本广告。
BitDefender在声明中称，这个木马软件把发送给谷歌服务器的查询重新引导到一个虚假的服务器。这台虚假的服务器显示第三方的广告，而不是谷歌提供的广告。
谷歌本周三发表声明称，我们已经取消了显示把用户重新引导到恶意网站的广告的客户账户以及违反我们的软件原则做产品广告的客户账户。
谷歌称，我们正在积极地检测和撤销向我们的广告网络和搜索结果提供恶意软件的网站。我们已经采用人工的方式和自动的方式检测和强制执行这些政策。
这个木马程序是以神话中的特洛伊木马命名的，因为它能够在不被察觉的情况下进入计算机系统，攻击谷歌的AdSense服务。

大学城隔断师生关系？
“上学期上专业课时，有个老师经常提前5到10分钟下课，就是为了赶班车。”
在说起一位老师时，西安大学城里的西北大学管理科学专业大四的学生吴超（化名）回忆，因为上课的教学楼距学校班车发车点较远，老师考虑到走过去乘班车比较费时，往往要提前下课，怕误了班车回市区就晚了。吴超反映，哪怕是在课堂上，学生和老师充分交流的时间都不完整，“你说这样老师和学生的关系能拉近吗？”
大二时，吴超的一位任课教师还因为错过班车，上课迟到过好几次。“我就觉得大学城把我们和老师的关系拉远了。”吴超叹了口气。
教师在校区间奔波 老师指导成为奢侈品
近几年，在我国的部分省市，出现了“大学城”这样的高校集中区。一般来说，“大学城”是把一些高校集中建造在城市郊区的一个固定区域内，让高校的学生能够拥有资源共享、互相学习的环境，而教师则往往是往返奔波于市区本部与郊区的大学城之间进行教学。
“上课前，常看到从一辆班车上鱼贯下来三四十位老师赶往教室。”吉林省长春市前卫南区大学城的张秀雯生动地描述着一个场景，老师们每天要往返于校区之间，学校的班车从每天上午7时到晚上10点都有车。“下课时，要抓紧时间问问题，不然老师就赶车去了”。
“没接触哪会产生感情？”上海水产大学的黄智曾住在南汇大学城，他指出，大学城里的学生和老师平时接触得少，有问题经常找不到老师，导致师生关系存在隔阂。他举了个例子。在上第一节物理实验课时，大学城里的食堂和上课的教室隔得较远，有些同学来不及吃早饭，就带着油条和豆浆去实验室，结果老师就提醒：“上课不要吃东西。”而那个同学看着老师，没有吭声，隔了一会儿，又咬了口油条，正好被老师看到。“不要给台阶下不要台阶。”老师一下子就发火了，“一下课脸色铁青地走掉，一分钟也不给我们”。
不交流误会多导致恶性循环
黄智还说起了一位让他记忆深刻的老师，那位老师同样是上完课就走人，能管学生也不管，不能管就更加不管了。找老师时老师还语气强硬，让学生怎么服老师？
一次，那位老师叫黄智的同桌回答问题，同桌支支吾吾地没答上来，老师就让黄智回答问题。结果，“我说了很多，他绕不过我，就叫我出去站好。我低声说了一句，想在外面体罚学生还是想施暴？”黄智表示，自己本来只是想缓解下气氛，结果老师一下子呆了，愣了好几秒后才回过神来，让他回自己位置上坐好。而到学期结束的时候，让黄智忿忿不平的是，那门班级里其他人都没有挂科的课，就他得了一个59分。他去找老师理论，“为什么给我59分？”老师看着他，语气强硬：“我就给你59分，你能怎么样？谁叫你不承认错误？”
现在，黄智搬到了位于上海市杨浦区的大学本部。他发现，现在找老师请教方便多了。“随便去老师办公室都可以看到老师”。
“如果长期见不到老师，学生就容易产生一种情绪：老师既然不要见我，我们也不要见他。这会导致恶性循环。”在黄智看来，老师和学生的关系应该是相互的。如果老师无视学生，学生无视老师，大家互相无视对方的存在，就会造成关系越来越淡。而相反，老师要是能多关心学生，与学生多一些交流和沟通，多给一些学习和生活上的指导，学生也愿意和老师建立融洽的关系。
大学城有教师宿舍 可毕竟不是老师的家
除了南汇大学城外，上海市的另一座大学城——松江大学城，集中了上海外国语大学、东华大学、上海工程技术大学、华东政法大学、立信会计学院等一批高校。
作为理科专业的学生，东华大学的仝伟常常要去实验室做实验。一次，做实验到了晚上九十点，遇到了一个技术操作上的问题。结果，一面想着问题，一面看看实验楼还有没有老师在办公室。让仝伟感动的是，整栋大楼的教师办公室有一盏灯亮着。“系主任李老师还在工作，其他的老师早就上完课坐班车回去了。”
“虽然学校里有‘教师之家’的教师宿舍，可那毕竟不是老师真的家啊。”仝伟说。提到被东华学生评为“网上最受欢迎的十大教师”的一位60多岁的数学老教授时，仝伟非常兴奋。据介绍，这位教授，每周5个工作日，会有3天在“教师之家”住，方便解答学生提问，而且还独创了一个“疯狂星期六”，从周六上午到下午，给学生免费答疑、交流。那位教授曾表示，他喜欢和学生在一起，喜欢享受这个教学的过程。“难得有这样的老师，大学城里的老师大多数是到点上课，下课走人。在下课时看到没有学生上前，就马上走掉了。”
“比如下午3点钟有班车，两点半下课，老师最多留给学生一刻钟的时间进行辅导，两点四十五必须得去坐回市区的班车，否则就得等下一班车了。”仝伟进一步解释道，当然他们都理解老师。因为除了和老师当堂课结束的交流外，老师也给了他们别的联系方式，可以另外约时间交流。但当堂课下课后，老师和学生面对面的交流机会少了。
在安徽大学、安徽工业大学等好几所高校集中的合肥大学城里，生命科学专业大二的冯聪也感到，大学里老师和学生的联系不像初高中那样紧密，老师下课后给答疑的时间比较有限，也不可能时时刻刻都见得到老师，有问题的话要另外约时间找老师。
不过，生活中开始有了一些细微的变化。读大一时，冯聪所在的大学城里还没建教师的宿舍楼，专业老师也很少有在学校里停留时间长的。而现在，不但有了教师宿舍，也开始有部分老师住进了大学城的教师宿舍，“我们找老师方便多了。”冯聪说。
大学城让师生合作的机会减少
“大学城有利有弊，一方面可以使资源共享，可以去听外校老师的课，但是另一方面，大学城也造成了本校校区的老师和学生缺少联系。”本学期，仝伟和其他四五名校友自发组织了一个小队，准备创业计划方案的制作。由于涉及到财务报表、科学管理方面的设计，需要基本的财务管理知识，除了要和本专业的老师讨论外，还要找文科类的老师请教。“但文科类专业在延安路校区，我们大学城在郊区，很难找到合适的老师。”
本来想直接找管理学的老师进行交流的，但考虑到一是不认识，必须要通过同学几经周转介绍，二是因为即使找到老师，从松江大学城去市区的时间也长，很难找到老师和学生都有空的机会，所以，最后仝伟和组员们的创业计划里，还是托校友找老师代问问题，而放弃了自己和老师直接交流。“大学城让师生合作的可能性也减少了。”仝伟说。
老师们为什么不愿谈师生关系
为了解在大学城里授课的老师是怎样看待师生关系的，记者联系了合肥大学城、上海松江大学城、上海南汇大学城、西安大学城、长春前卫南区大学城、成都温江大学城、济南长清大学城的近20位高校教师。结果，大多数的老师都委婉或直接地拒绝了记者的采访。“这个话题我恐怕不能回答你”，“我没有研究过师生关系”，其中一位教师还特意请示了领导，最后仍抱歉地告知记者不能接受采访，因为院领导给出的指示是：就师生关系这个问题，不方便接受采访。
当记者问起松江大学城内一位上海工程技术大学的李姓教师时，他指出，老师们一般不愿意谈及师生关系的问题，恐怕是觉得“本来和自己的学生沟通就不多，说这个不是自己找麻烦吗？”这位老师还提到，自己平时也是下课就坐班车回去，为了让学生多和老师接触，还特意留了电子邮件的方式给学生，但即便这样，也很少收到学生的邮件。
“现在的大学城大多是一些高校的分校区。”位于合肥大学城的安徽大学生命科学专业的教师谢颖锋说道，今年可能要有很多老师搬进大学城新校区建成的教师宿舍。同时，他还提到一个建议，“可以渐渐地将主校区也过渡到大学城来，最后把主校区也建在大学城内，让教师不用来回地赶了。”
“教书育人是老师的责任。”谢颖锋说，“大学老师除了教书以外，也应该重视后者，多拿出些时间和学生交流。”
家住松江区的东华大学环境工程系主任李登新也认为，大学城建造在郊区，而大多数的老师住在市区，老师们要每天赶班车来来回回上课，和学生面对面交流的机会确实少，“大学城是一个客观原因”。
“一些老师在大学城里没有科研项目，这是另外一个原因。”李登新指出，如果能在大学城里多有一些科研项目，让老师在大学城的实验室里搞科研，而不是上完课没事了就回市区，这样一来，能让本科生更容易找老师，能多参与老师的科研，也能够多在老师身边学习。
“大学城对师生关系应该是有消极影响的，克服大学城对师生关系的消极影响，可能要过10年、20年，等越来越多的年轻老师住在校区后，这个问题才会得到解决，但短期内很难改变。”李登新说。
“学生应该增强主动性，在学业上、生活上、就业上都可以请教老师。”李登新还谈道，学生往往不知道该问老师什么问题，低年级的学生也更多是和高年级的学长、同学、老乡交流。他分析说，由于学生自身的经历有限，如果只和同学交流，得到的经验往往会有些片面，甚至会有误导性的意见。而老师经验比较丰富，对行业了解多，学生和老师交流好的话可以更好地学习。“有时间的话，一学期老师应该提供几次课外的机会和学生见面交流，正确地引导学生。”
最后，李登新建议，在大学城里还可以建设发展有专业背景的辅导员队伍，“让年纪大一点的、经验丰富的专业老师和没有经验的辅导员队伍配合起来，一起和学生交流”。 | | 2:15 pm |

新广告项目做调整 Facebook安抚有隐私焦虑的用户
从本月早期Facebook 推介了新的广告项目Beacon目开始。该项目的数据分享动机就遭遇到了用户们逐渐增强的反对声浪。有55000人加如了抗议群体MoveOn的活动。

CPU10元、主板40元、硬盘30元……昨天，中关村中海电子市场某经销商公开通过网络宣传自己的攒机配置表，在这份配置表中，用二手配件攒一台电脑（不含显示器）的费用仅为215元。对此，有业内专家建议消费者，在购买此类二手攒机时应当慎重。

Youtube网站推出俄语版 北京时间11月14日消息：据国外媒体报道，全球第一大视频共享网站Youtube日前在俄罗斯推出了本地化的俄语版。
面对Youtube进军俄国，该国一些互联网公司表示并不惧怕Youtube的进入。
不过有专家表示，实际上，Youtube在俄罗斯根本就没有竞争对手，未来也不可能涌现出其他对手。
Youtube这一次的俄语版不仅仅是用户界面的语言翻译，而在“视频推荐”和“热点视频”等栏目都进行了内容的本地化，这些栏目中充满了俄罗斯的电影视频，以及网民的热评。
据悉，在推出俄罗斯本地化版本之前，Youtube网站已经和俄罗斯的许多内容发行商进行了合作，其中包括1TV、STS、2x2、Euronews等等。STS公司表示，俄语版的发布，将让俄罗斯成为全球网络视频视频更为积极的一个参与者。
六月份，Youtube网站宣布推出九个国家语言的版本，分别面向巴西、英国、法国、日本、荷兰、波兰、爱尔兰、意大利和西班牙。十月份，Youtube网站又推出了中文繁体版本。
