Today we have managed to pull the head units out (actually i did that by myself) Chris is now outside trying to wire in an ignition wirie, as the stock head unit doesnt seem to have one.

Just decided as i have this week off work that i will be installing my head unit and front spekers. I just tonight pulled some of the dash and part of the head units out. Will keep it updated.

Well its been a long time with no updates and this will be a quick one. Anyway the car had its first oil change today, and now runs a bit quieter. Also put 3.5lts of coolant (was low) so the temp guage has dropped a bit. Although it wasnt running hot to start with.

Also on Saturday Shane (my stepfather) did the dodgiest leb job i have seen on a car EVER. My battery terminals are dodgy and loose so he stuck a screw in the sides of them to jam them on. HEHEHE and OMG its worked *fingers crossed* the car hasnt broken down all week now i havnt had to flag people down for a jump start so far.

Friday evening at Jamies spa party Damo kindly dropped off what are goign to be the speaker pods / map pockets for my doors. I am yet to even get the out of Chris's car ue to lack of time, but i will be sprayign them purple over the next few weeks so i can get them all ready for the big stereo install.
Very excited about perhaps having soem decent sound (even though i am still subless) as the gay old rea crackly speakers r shititng me as is the stupid old head unit.

hrmmmmmmmmm i need new battery teminals my car stopped whilist in peak hour traffic for the 3rd time this week. Had to wave down ppl to help me. Its not the best fun. So yes this weekend is going to see that problem having to be repaired.

Hehehehe, today i have painted the surrounds to the headlights purple, so instead of black they r purple and i reckon they look alright. They dont stand out too much which is good and bad, i should painted them bright yellow LOLOL

Hrm well we have to tighen the battery temial this weekend as my car thought it would be amusing to go flat on me this morning and make me go into a mad panic on who to ask to jump start it. Then the bonnet wouldnt open and i broke the surrounds to the bonnet cord and its all bad.
But............ i had a lovely evening tonight ;) and that makes up for all the bad stuff!

Its my birthday hehehehehe, i am so old now :(
Anyway this is sorta car related. I got this giant poster of a VY senator and its awesome it will go nicely with my other pics on my wall of commodores hehehe. and chris's mum and dad brought me a tool kti which i mad coz i really really need one and am now glad chris talked me out of buying one.
on a shit note the bolt has fallen out of one headlight so i cant drive at night till i fix it coz the light wont go up and down on the drivers side without making bad bad noises

grrrr the headlight on the drives side is missing a bolt i think as it wont go up and down properly and i had to just drive home with no headlights LOLOLOL.

Oh forgot to mention what happened on Friday when it went to get registered.
First of all i got cut off majorly in traffic and ended up in gravel so i nearly crashed it b4 it was reg'd :(
But after gettign to vic roads safely and with heaps of time to spare i did all the paperwork and he inspection guy said okies bring in into the inspection bay..... and so i go to the car put my key in the ignition and all i got was a errrrrrrr errrrrrr errrrrr and the battery died A BRAND NEW BATTERY LOLOLOL. So its all cool the guy checked the numbers in the carpark i paid the rego (0nly $8-00 stamp duty whoo hoo) and i hunted someone down (a nice old guy) in the carpark explained what happened and he jump started me and all has been cool ever since :)

Well the good news is........
ITS PASSED THE ROADWORTHY!
Basically ist off to be registered tomorrow morning, and at this point in time i am very very very happy!
Chris rocks for doing ever so much work on it for me!
Also thanks again to Craig, Tim, Matt and Chris's Dad and anyone else thats helped.
The pics of the complete car will be up over the weekend!!
However there is still more of this car saga to come as i have to install the central locking, and also a new stereo, but for the time being its time to help Chris get his car stereo in :)

Well quick update.
Well Chris, Craig and Tim, Sarah and well Kerrie came for dinner but she didnt help hehehehe, last night to help with the car. We got the headlights in, the steering wheel fixed and lots of stuff that i havnt got time to list. basically the car is nealry there.
This morning i got the rear caliper replaced! abut on the way there i got pulled over by cops and i didnt realise but the bloody permit had expried but its all good coz fortunately for me the cop could see how much work has been done and he let me off!!
Anyway about to head to Chris's to clean under the car to fix the leak! Then off to RWC place and they better pass it coz we have fixed EVERYTHING on that list!

Well peoples i just went to the auto elec to get the headlights fixed (they werent working for some strange reason) Anyway while iw as waiting i played with plugs and shit and walla! They work!! Hehehe so i thanked the auto elec and apologised for wasting his time (well i didnt actually coz he wasnt up to my car yet) and left and i am about to go and install them properly hehehe!
Chris is on his way here with the caster rubbers to put in and also to sart doign some other stuff befire the boys get here tonight to help do the rest! I hope it gets done, i am sure it will. Thanks everyone so far who has contributed even down to the asshole RWC guy who wouldnt talk to me coz i was a chick!! But especially thansk to Chris, coz without him the car wouldnt even be starting! *hugs*

Okies i have been to get the inspection for the RWC and here is what needs to be done. Some of this stuff is quite simple and we have the parts but yeah it all has to be done by Thursday.
Secure Battery
New Tyres
No front parker lights
Headlights
Drivers seat broken
Drivers seat belt frayed
Clutch Pedal rubber damaged
Horn doesnt work
Ignition wiring not secured
Steering Wheel Loose
Number Plate light broken
Bonnet Release not mounted
Boot lid seal broken
Water in RH tail light
Drivers door strip needs to be secured
Steering Rack worn
RHF Wheel bearing loose
Caster rod rubbers decayed/cracked
Oil leak from engine
LHR Caliper leaking
So yeah a fair bit of it we can do ourselves, except we will need help if anyone wants to provide some, it would be appreciated.

Well i just paid $66-00 for the replacement of my engine pipe in the mazda. I wish now i had of taken the digi cam to the exhaust place.
Basically he chucked it up on the hoiset, and it had no issues with the muffler at all. The main problem was the fact that just over an inch of pipe wasnt there LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL.
So yeah basically he made me up a new engine pipe, and joined her all up and now the car sounds all quiet :( But at least now i can drive with the windows up and NOT get gassed out.
So its getting there ever so slowly , but the plan is to have it registered by Friday next week. If its not heads are goign to fall.
