An end is in sight; take a breather [18 Feb 2005|11:03pm] [ mood | amused ] [ music | In the Land of Twilight, Under the Moon - .hack ] Well, I beat Symphonia last week...This week the countless hours have been dedicated to earning titles, filling my collector's crap up, and getting mega-loads of Gald and Grade (For the not-so-bright ones out there, Gald is like GOLD). Anyway, what this means for /you/ guys is that I'll prolly shut up about it soon...y'know, as soon as I have about 10000 Grade. ^^; To put in perspective, I accumulated about 1200 Grade throughout the course of the /whole game/. *laughs* An end is truly in sight, don't you agree? 8 comments|post comment

(x_X Correct me if I'm wrong) ] ...everything is cold and wet...and cumbersome...and very good at getting me in trouble. *grits teeth* I walked up to Steph's with Chris and Ish today...boo-urns! It was nice once we got up there; twas nice and warm...but, ah, yeah...My dad is now officially an ass. He wanted me to walk back in /that/ *points at the 2 feet or so of snow outside* in the near complete blackness of night...>.< Dammit! Steph's mom wasn't gonna let us leave in that kinda condition, so she phoned my dad back (Thank her for me, plz, Steph -_-;) Long stroy short, he picked us up...and got stuck twice on the way back...he apparently was stuck four times on the way there, as well. *smirks* Serves him right. I was perfectly content to stay where I was and even do some homework, but my parents were blinded by stupidity and could have regretted it for the rest of their lives; I could have died out in that. It's /dark/ and /icy/ out there...Ish fell over, like, 20 times on the way there (when there was less snow)...and that was in broad daylight. x_X Blah, I'll never understand why people can't just let some things go... A real update...>. The untold story of cheese [02 Jan 2005|07:42pm] [ mood | indescribable ] [ music | Crystals of Kakariko OC remix (A Link to the Past) ] At Chris-guy's request, I've decided to tell you all what finally happened that fateful day of snowmen and sore feet (wusses) to the cheese of aforementioned almost-throwingness. You see, as Terry and I neared Chris's house, we noticed he happened to be in his subterranean room. So, Terry put his face to the window and "got Chris's attention". After some convincing, Chris decided to come with. As Chris left the room, however, Terry thought it would be fun to try and break into his room. Long story short, he broke the screen and was halfway through the window when Chris came out the front door yelling back to his parents, "Going out. If I don't come back, avenge death!" Looking back and forth between the two, I had a decision to make: Let Chris see Terry making an ass of himself, or throw the cheese at Chris to distract him. I think I made the right choice. ^-^ I let Chris see Terry, THEN threw the cheese at him. The sequence of events were as follows: Chris: *blink* Terry? Wth?! You broke my screen, you bastard! *walks over to window and helps Terry out before trying to fix screen* Terry: Hi, guy! *grins* Chris: Dammit...*finishes and walks back over with Terry to me* So....where are we going? Terry: Um, we're going to- Me: Hya!!*throws cheese at Chris's head* Chris: Omg! *ducks, cheese goes flying into gravel some feet away* Was that cheese?! *rushes over to cheese and picks it up* Oh, it was! Cheese! *stuffs cheese in mouth as he walks back to Terry and I, who are doubled over in laughter* Hey....*chews a bit* this cheese....it has rocks in it! *we laugh harder, Chris continues chewing* Aww....this isn't good cheese....Kyle, you bastard, you gave me cheese with rocks in it! *spits out cheese and wipes mouth* That was horrible! Teh last day of 2004, and the Butterfly Effect [31 Dec 2004|12:12pm] [ mood | gloomy ] [ music | Aria De Mezzo Caraterre from FF6 ] Ah...well. This year sure has been great...-_- Boo. I mean, suuuure, this year had it's ups, but for the most part...bah.....On a lighter note, watched the Butterfly Effect last night: Frickin' awesome. It was the director's cut, too, so I gots to see all the juicy little details left out in the theatrical. Heh....the director's cut ending was a whole lot shorter and creepier than the other one, though. (I watched the other ending afterwards ^^;) Infantile suicide is not something you should subject your kids to, so, uh, while it's a good movie...for the love of god, /don't/ watch it in front of small children....or your parents, or anything. >.< There are some pretty sick parts of the movie that would just raise questions that you /really/ don't wanna have to answer. Trust me. Anyways, to sum things up, I like this movie more than I liked 2004, so here's to a new year that'll maybe not suck so much. -_- Sorel out. 2 comments|post comment

I managed to hold true to my word to my mom, though; I said: "I bet I can finish all my shopping in 15 mins. Easily." And I did. Easily. Managed to get Nick's late B-Day present (It IS better than Ish's, just like I said it'd be) and get my game I wanted. ^.^ Huzzah! Final Fantasy I&II: Dawn of Souls! I've learned so far that, 1: The power of good always triumphs. 2: When the four heroes of light appear bearing four crystals, the veil of darkness will be lifted from the world, and 3: Ignore rules 1&2 if you don't own a walkthrough; you're screwed, you bastard, you'll NEVER find where you need to go, NEVER!! Bwa hah hah hah!! ...so yeah, in short, good game, insanely confusing. Well, at least FF1 is; haven't played FF2 yet, but I bet that's better as you don't have such a...well, to be honest, downright crappy story-line. And personality-less characters. -_- I can only imagine what they're thinking as they go into battle.....Black Mage: Ah, oh god, it's a blue ooze! Run away! Warrior:...it has, like, 30 hit points. Wtf, dude?! *flails* Even /you/ can take it! Black Mage: Wth is that supposed to mean? You want to go, short-stuff? I'll Fira your ass back to Elfheim, bitch! White Mage: Stop, both of you! I made some cookies! Have some cookies, don't fight...T.T Thief: *is singing* I loooove money....*stealing all belongings*....Well, maybe not quite like that, prolly more like this...Black Mage: Oh god, I'm dead! *is dead* Warrior: Again?! Late nights + New games = I M so tired -_- [26 Dec 2004|11:06pm] [ mood | tired ] [ music | Ed - The Ending theme to Blue Gender ] Ack...Viewtiful Joe is sapping my strength..."Henshin a go-go!" he screams as he zooms in and slows down everything, dodging a bullet matrix-style then punching a robot fencer right into 3 more robots, sending them all flying to explode into each other and give him massive V points... *sigh* Tales of Symphonia then goes on to mash my brain into tinier bits, as the characters race about the screen "giving the enemies no quarter". Slashing and burning and cooking and talking and laughing and.......oh god. The animation.....is so god. T.T I'm losing sleep...and I don't know when I'll find it again. 1 comment|post comment
