3:29 pm - Hmm...
So I haven't updated in a while...the simple reason is that nothing has happened. My summer was so boring...nobody was in Boone and there was nothing to do here. Never spend a summer here unless you really have to.

Well, my job started back up two days ago. All we've done is training so far, which pisses me off. Why do I have to go through training for the 3rd time when it's the exact same stuff that I've been hearing for the past two years...I mean the training video is the same thing that I saw when I first started working there...well, at least I get paid for the training time. Tonight we're running Casino Night for the freshmen. I have to be there from 5-midnight (actually it'll probably be later than that). This thing is not fun either...ALL of the freshmen pack into the Student Union for dancing, casino games (fake money, of course), lazer tag, poster sale, etc. and we have to run all of the stuff. We are also incharge of setup and take down which takes even longer. But it's putting money in my bank account so I'll deal with it.

So the Tori Amos concert is next Saturday...I really really really want to see her play live!!! She rocks my socks off! I need to get tickets really soon before they sell out.

Classes start on Monday and I only have 2, WOOHOO!!! This is going to be a great year because I only have to take 12 credits each semester! All of my classes are rec except for astronomy...why I waited til my senior year to take my science classes is still a mystery. I'm just one step closer to that lovely $80,000 piece of paper.

So guess where I'm spending my fall break...come on, take a, not in, not the New Life beach trip...I'M GOING TO NEW YORK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yes, ladies and gentlemen, I will be spending my fall break watching a Broadway show, touring the Empire State Building, and just hanging out in Times Square. I'm sooooooo freakin excited!!!

Well, it's about time for me to head on over to the Union...if you wanna come rescue me from insanity, drop on by.

11:58 pm - Friday five...a little early
Ok, so I'm doing this weeks five a little because tomorrow I won't be anywhere near a computer...yes I will be in the middle of a random field rockin out at Cornerstone Elon. So this week only one question was submitted and that was by Nikki Johnson, my good buddy from camp (who will be a freshman at App this fall, woohoo, fun times!) so I'll answer her question first and the rest will be from random surveys.

1. What is your dream for your wedding? Well to tell you the truth, I've never really thought about it in depth...I know that I want to have it outside because when my parents got married they wanted to have it outside, but then my grandma said, "What am I going to do with all these people if it rains?" So they got married inside on the hottest day of the summer in a church with NO air conditioning.

2. What's your dream car? I already have red '79 Jeep CJ-5, I LOVE IT!!!

3. What's your fav movies? Hmm...that's hard, but Sound of Music, Dirty Dancing, and most anything with Molly Ringwald definately ranks up in the top of my list.

4. What's your fav tv show? I got a few actually...Survivor (woohoo!), Buffy the Vampire Slayer, SNL, and Jerry Springer (that's some funny stuff!)

5. What's your fav color? I've been in rotation with a few colors, mostly blue, red, and black.

Ok so there's the five for this week...keep the questions coming!

2:50 am - Friday five...I know, a little late
Ok so here's the Friday five that I promised everyone, but no one submitted any questions so I snagged some from my bro's here they are:

1. What kind of music do you listen to? Well I probably have the most diverse taste of any one person...I mean in the same week I bought the new Tori Amos cd and the Good Charlotte cd...oh yeah, I HATE COUNTRY MUSIC!!!

2. Fav singer? Sarah McLachlan, although the combo of Tori Amos' voice and her piano skills gives me goosebumps.

3. Fav band? The Benjamin Gate!

4. Fav cd? I have a few...CPYHUIMH by TBG, Fumbling Towards Ecstacy by Sarah McLachlan, Scarlet's Walk (the new cd) and From the Choirgirl Hotel by Tori Amos, the first two cds by The Cranberries, and The Immaculate Collection by Madonna (she was a whole lot better in the 80's)

5. Fav song? No way could I answer that...I've got too many.

So there they are...remember, you can have your questions answered by sending them to me at ...and try to have them to me by 11:30pm on Friday. Until next time...I'm out!

11:10 pm
So I've decided that my new favorite tv show is Buffy the Vampire Slayer...I'm not really sure why but I like the show and my favorite character has got to be Willow, she acts dumb but she's really's fun stuff.

Anyway, that was kinda surprisingly the surgery has not really effected my ability to get feels as if nothing happened, like I never even had the operation, which is a great thing. But, I'm still going easy with everything...yesterday I played DDR for a while and Mom got mad at me...she was afraid I was going to hurt myself, which I didn't but it probably wasn't the best thing for me to do.

Well, I can't go back to Boone until Wednesday because I have a check-up with the doctor on Tuesday...I'm getting really bored here in Spartanburg, but of course I'm bored in Boone too...and so I countdown the days until I can graduate and move to Myrtle Beach...that's gonna ROCK hardcore!!! Well I better go before Seth gets home, because he hates it when I'm on his computer.

7:52 pm - Wonderful times!!!
Ok, so I had my surgery yesterday (for those of you who don't know, I had to get warts removed from my butt, yeah go ahead and laugh, but you wouldn't if you had them), anyway, it went great...I was actually out of there within 3 hours! Mom took me home and I tried to sleep a little but the mass of gauze (sp?) that was surrounding my butt made it too uncomfortable for me to fall asleep. So after 4 hours they said I could take it off and that made things a TON better! I was a little sore yesterday, I had to sit on a cushion the whole day, but today, I FEEL GREAT!!! I'm not sore, I can sit like normal, and I can even play DDR! So tonight I'm going to get some coffee since I haven't had any in like 5 days. Things are wonderful!

11:22 pm - Sad news...
Well, I have to go to sleep because since I'm having surgery next Tuesday I need to be healthy and not all unrestified (that's my new word that I just made up), so I'm hittin the sack. Goodnight all!

that the sun comes out at like 6 am...I just looked outside and there it's the most amazing thing! Haha!

5:28 am - Jewel...don't even try it...
Ok, so you know how I said I'd be updating again soon...well I didn't know it would be this soon, but anyway, I'm sitting here watching Insomniac Music Theater on VH1 and that new Jewel video came on and all I have to say is, "NO!!!" Jewel, honey this is NOT you! She looks so uncomfortable trying to be would be like me trying to shake me body in a seductive and sexual manner...not happening. Now don't get me wrong, she's got the voice for the song and it's kinda catchy, but this is not the Jewel that we all grew to love and respect...there's more to music than semi-clothed bodies dancing around while promoting some random new and exciting product. What happend to the days when music was about the lyrics and what they meant? Welcome to the 21st century...

current mood: crazy
current music: Jewel...whatever the name of that song was...

4:57 am - High points in the last few days...and more!
Yes ladies and gentlemen, the time is correct on my IS close to 5 am...I've decided to see how long I can stay up...never tried this before so it should be fun...there's not much on tv right now...mostly info-mercials.

But anyway, on to the high points...well my cell phone has been acting weird for the last few days. Sunday, it wouldn't turn on for like 12 hours and I've been missing calls because of it, so if you've tried to call me and I didn't answer, that's why...not because I don't want to answer, but because I didn't get the call.

Let's see...Melinda's coming up this weekend...I'm soooooo excited because I haven't seen her in a while and I miss my roomie!

Um, what else...I've decided to grow my hair out again...I'm not tired of the spikes, I love them, it's just I need a change...I'm not growing it out too long, probably just down to my chin. But right now it's at the stage that I hate because I can't really do anything with it.

So I've decided to move to Myrtle Beach after I graduate...there's just more to do there and more people...don't get me wrong, Boone's cool and all, but it sucks a big one in the summer time. I'm at least hoping to do my intership down there. Only time will tell.

Wow, it's 5 am and I'm not tired yet...maybe because of the vast amounts of caffine I've been ingesting lately...haha! Well that's all for now, but I'll probably update again soon, just to keep me occupied.

So I'm sure everyone has thoroughly enjoyed hearing about my problems, but, hey, this is my journal and if you don't want to read about it...don't.

Well, I went home for a few, but it didn't make my problems go away...actually it just made one a whole lot worse.

Nikki's coming up this weekend, she's got orientation for App so we're gonna hang out this weekend, hopefully this will make me feel better...PLEASE God, let something make me feel better.

9:17 pm - Finally updating...
Ok so it's been like 3 weeks since I've updated and a lot has happened...

My family finally had our summer vacation to the beach...yeah it was fun, but i think after about 5 days we were all getting on each other's nerves. But anyway, I got to hang out with Maria a bit which rocked because I haven't seen her since like December. Seth and I hit Ocean Blvd. at night and happened upon this wonderful video game...DANCE DANCE REVOLUTION!!! Hahaha, it is such a fun game...between me, Seth, and his friend, we probably spent $50 in that game! (and we found out that playstation makes the game, so seth is going to buy it and the hard floor pad!!!) So we got to go to Medieval Times, which is kinda corny but fun at the same time. Let's see, what else did we do... got to watch Maria get her first body piercing (belly button)...and...umm...i went out on the beach and still didn't get a tan (there's no hope for me...I will forever be a white girl)...and...hmm...what else...oh yeah! We went to Barefoot Landings and I got to see the spray paint guy. Man I could have sat and watched him for hours...wait, I did! I bought one of his paintings and now it's up in my room. That's about all we did at the beach.

Well I got to go visit the Mundo girls again...always fun times! But I'm not real sure if the admin staff likes me or not...they're always a bit on the rude side everytime I visit. But anyway, we all got to go see The Benjamin Gate at Cafe Jam...ROCKIN!!! It was so good to see Adie and the guys again...I hadn't seen them in like 3 or 4 months. Got to hang with Adie a bit after the show and I bought the banner that they have hanging up behind the merch table and Adie gave me two of her backstage passes, one from their very first show in the USA and one from FCD 2002. YAY!!! Fun stuff!

Let's see...umm...I went home for the fourth, we all went to the lake and had a cookout and did fireworks...haha, funny story, I was taking some fireworks out on our dock to light and so I squatted down to light it and the bondage strap on my pants got hooked around my leg. So i lit the firework and turned to run off the dock only to fall straight back on my butt! So I'm like struggling to unhook myself while there's fireworks about to go off like 4 feet from me and finally the strap broke and I ran away safely...we all laughed about it afterwards, but my pants will never be the same.

Sunday, I drove up to G-boro to eat dinner with Mel cuz it was her birthday...her 21st birthday, wink, wink, nudge, nudge. She had just come back from the beach...her and Jess, and Leslie went, I would have gone but Mom wanted me to stay home and go to the lake. So anyway, we went to Outback and she was so excited to be able to legally buy a drink so she got a Wallabee Darned...pretty tasty I must say. So after dinner I drove to Boone and man I was pooped when I got home.

So I've been thinking about graduate school...I'm not really ready for the "real world" yet, so I might as well. I've stumbled upon UNCG as the closest with my program...what to do, what to do...something to think the mean time I'm out!
