It seems like every update i do lately is about me sitting (or in this case standing) in the library, bored out of my head, and nothing to talk about... So, here i go again...

I'm standing in the library again (well kinda leaning, there arent any tall enough chairs for these computers - they put them at just above seating height and just below standing height...its really stupid, so you have to kind of stand and lean against the back of the chair to get the right height...it just hurts your a*** after a while...). I'm bored, and nothing to do for the next 2 hours whilst i wait for my Engg1010 - Statics And Dynamics practical...

the lecturer is sick, and so class today was cancelled for that subject...

Well, i'm here in the library *again* since the IT department has seen fit to refuse me the use of any of its computers, even though i am still enrolled in the IT degree, and kinda need to use them for maths assignments and things (like chatting, listening to music etc etc) :P

i'm so bored these days...my interests arent interesting anymore (apart from turtles ;P)

oh well...i guess i am just feeling tired after night out with The Moffatt people...well some of them at least... :P

night was pretty good, ok i guess...would have been better if a certain somone was here ;)

Well...birthday is over and uni has begun! ^_^;;;

Got a new mp3 player for my car! w00h00! now the only problem is fitting it! o_O

also got a new digital camera! yay! finaly up to date with photographic technology :D

got a reasonably crap uni timetable - 2 8am starts >_< yuck!

Went out to a thai restaurant in milton with Turtle/Bumbu and Din/Adinda: "Bangcock Milton" ;P it was very good, slightly pricey ($14-$22 for a main dish) but sooo yummmmmm! hehehe. From there we went to get ice cream from "The Blue Lotus" in park road - wow! so good! We ordered a "mini - degustation" or something like that - basically it was a sample of 6 different types of ice cream. We had Red Bean, Turkish Delight, Tiramisu, Durian, Death by Chocolate, and Caramel Fudge. It was lots of fun, especially when Shirl & Din got into a fight about who was eating what and Shirl went and ate the whole bit of Turkish Delight! I then siezed the opportunity to catch up with the girls by digging in to all of the flavours (minus TD since it was already taken) while the girls were laughing and giggling hysterically (and loud enough to attract the attention of all other patrons and staff) :P

Made some satay chicken for my Turtle last night, was very good if i do say so myself ;)
We then watched my DVD of "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon" (which is a very cool movie, don't listen to Shirley)...She didnt like it because the hero dies...But I think that is one of the reasons that I *do* like it...It's more realistic than the happy-happy Hollywood crap that we are fed everyother day.

Bumbu and myself went to subway today - forgot how yum it was! then we came home and had a second lunch made of BBQ Pork buns, Taro Bun, & Pandan break with chocolate sprinkles ;P
Going to subway *again* tonight for dinner...*sigh*...the things i do heheheheh (not really complaining ~_^)

Shirl is going back on the 6th :'(
well, i suppose it's only temporary...She and Din got a flat here in Bris, so it's only a matter of time before she comes back again (and I can go and get some more super-indo food! ekekekekeke)

back home again from what must be definitely one of the best fortnights of my life so far ^_^
i must say thank you so much to Shirley for the fun we had, and the food you cooked...you're the best! :)

very strange coming back home. It feels very comforting and familiar, but feels like there is something missing, something i left behind...

came back with 2 new pairs of jeans & 3 new shirts (1 button, 1 short tee, 1 long tee) as well as a few odds and ends (like ginger tea for mum & pants for Din)...I'd say it was pretty sucessful shopping...or at least for me it is...i dont usually buy lots of things at once...i prefer to hunt and track down my prey, rather than forage and gather items (if you get my drift...no? oh, ok...well neither do i, so thats ok). Along with clothing i've also picked up some soap and a virgin-blue magazine (it had coctail recipies in it).

i think i will go to sleep now...i'm not really tired (emotionaly exhausted tho :\) but i might as well try...and sleep all day tomorrow too...hehehe...lots to catch up on... then maybe into chinatown on friday (or thursday afternoon...if i can be bothered) ^_^;

wow...Slept for exactly 12 hours last night...making up for lost sleep i suppose :P
We also had a blackout from about 8:45pm until 1am in the morning. There wasn't a storm or anything either, the power for the whole neighbourhood just dissapeared. Makes you wonder why, and howcome it took so long to fix? especially because my mobile phone ran out of batteries in the middle of a conversation :(

well i guess that all i really needed was sleep...so it's a good thing the power went out...it forced me to go to bed early...

And as a result i'm really happy...and I dont know why...its a strange feeling to be happy with no reason...especially when you are in the middle of exams you are going to fail o_O

Sitting here trying to study, I dont understand anything that is going in (or rather trying to)...
It kind makes you wonder why...Why do i do this to myself?...Why did i change courses instead of just sticking to what i was doind? It doesnt seem so bad now that i look back on it, although at the time i was going crazy with boredom and frustration...although that might not have been totaly my degrees fault...

Now that i have found that something(or rather somone) else that was missing, how do i feel? Both better and worse... I don't know what to think about it anymore, I used to try and be the optimistic one, although i can't help anymore but feel like i'm slowly getting pulled under by reality...Drowning in a sea of confused self-doubt...hehehe, hows *that* for drama queen(or should that be king?)
I thought about giving up a while ago, thinking that it was all too hard...but then i decided otherwise and blamed it on academic stress...but maybe i was right, maybe not...maybe it is too hard to make it work, but maybe it is just a matter of dedication...maybe i dont know what i should do, but maybe i should just make a descision...maybe we are right for each other, but maybe we arent...maybe it's all jsut blown out of proportion because i'm worried about my exams that are coming up next week and i don't understand any of my subjects and i've been up late and having trouble sleeping and have been having crazy disturbing dreams and i swear some of the music i'm listening to is putting messages in my head...

erg...have i mentioned to everyone how much i hate studying?
Apart from being very sick on the weekend (fever, temperature, fits of shivering, runny nose, headache...the works) i haven't really done much. I only have 2 exams this semester (yay!), but still havent done anything...

DC circuit analysis isn't fun...let me tell you that...

i've been doing everything instead of study....watch tv, clean, do washing, shop, play games, listen to music, read novels, the list goes on. Well i just ahve to get through until next thursday, then everything will be better...more than better really ;P
