11:50 pm - Someone pass me the oxygen mask. Now.
|
So i watched 4 straight hours of Kathy Griffin: Life on the D-List the day before. And yesterday, I watched 3 straight hours of 101 Starlicious Hollywood Makeovers on E! followed by 2 straight hours of Kathy (again) re-runs, project runway season 3 and finally I got to watch Jackie Warner on Workout.
Jackie. Warner. She's too hothotHOT! I can't even take it anymore! Butterflies in my stomach through the whole episode. Picture me drooling my face off -_-
So you haven't heard the latest shiznit?? Lynn's high-school crushing on Jackie Warner.....

...aaaand dreamily I sigh.
Cannot wait for the new season to start next Tuesday! *squeal* ;D ;D ;D

8:04 pm - Weekends start on Wednesdays.
|
Last week, crazy! Weekend, started on Wednesday. Now I'm pooped. Party-exhausted. Note to self: don't ever attempt such feats ever again. Not when it needs to end with a finale take-home midterm. To be specific, a Statistics midterm. Oh, and 4-week backed-up family systems therapy reading to top it off. I went out and stayed out till late starting Wednesday night. I don't know what got over me. Umm, It just happened. Things like that just happen...like how one-night stands...they just happen too.
At Woody's on Wednesday, Von, Joey and I witnessed an actual bar fight. Yes. A bar-fight. At WOODY'S. "Ouch! You hit me first , biatch. *slap slap* Stop iiiiittttt!" NO. Not that kind of fag-fight. There were skin-splits, and gashes under the eye, blood on face, flooring, full-on swinging punches (that one guy missed and hit me on my thigh instead). I was that close to the action. Exciiiiiting. I've never witnessed an actual fight before. Other than the ones I was in with my sisters when I was younger. Mine involved the fag-fight moves *hyah hyah!* Kidding. I meant the winning moves -- slapping, scratching, hair-pulling, boxing, and bitchy screaming. Fun times.
Sisters' on Thursday. I'd not been back there in 2 months. Bootied it out. I had a blast! And, as always, Hetty hooked me up with some chick. After playing the staring at each other from across the room game, I got to dance with her, neck it out, kiss it out. She's an identical twin. Both were there. Bosnian twin sisters. Niiiiiiice.
Tavern on Friday. Went insane dancing for the 3rd night in a row. I'd be damned! But not before we had a pre-gaming in my apartment, again. And Suzie went scandaliciously crazy too. (I've got proof Suzie! hehe...)

....aaaaand, we all had a blast!
Saturday night. Had a laughing good time at the Continental Midtown. Good company and nice gay waiter, whom our gay boys could not get enough of flirting with. Topped off with silliness...

...well, maybe Rajiv was getting bored. We were deceived by their offer. It said "Dean Martini -- 3 Olive Martini, a box of matches, a pack of Lucky Strikes" Bullshit. All we got was the Martini, a box of matches, and ONE cigarette. -_-
Then we headed to Bump. After 2pm in the Gayborhood is D-A-N-G-E-R-O-U-S. You'd think that gay people are getting killed by hate crimes committed by hateful breeders. I'm wondering if it's cos they're killing each other instead! :( So sad. So there was a fight in the middle of the road at the usual intersection of 13th and Chancelor, in front of that pizza place.
....then we went to Dunkin Donuts in the middle of the night. This is us, 4am in South Philly.

The end.
Now, I just want to punch something, someone. Need alone time. Badly. Pooped out with partying. No more crazy nights like that for a long while to come....
...hopefully. Hah.

Pirates of the Caribbean! Oooooh yeah...Johnny Depp :) :) :) Yeah, well, cheer cheer, rah rah, oooh la la Johnny Depp. Ok, so the real deal is, I thought the most fascinating character was Bill Nighy's Flying Dutchman.

Look at him. Big, strong, powerful...hehe. I was mesmerized by his rubbery tentacled face. He has no nose, his tentacles squirm around as they hang from his face, he exhales through two tentacles cos he has no nostrils, and he hides the key under his tentacle-beard! Way too cool.
Aaaaanyway, none of that can be more exciting than me locking myself out of my own apartment this evening. All because we decided to have some Rita's Ice (again!) after dinner, after the movie. Damn Rita's Ice!! Gah. I came back to the apartment to get keys to my car but left the apartment keys behind when I went out the door -_-
Thank God Hetty had a spare key to my apartment! Which she, btw, misplaced and couldn't find. But we spent a good 30 minutes in her apartment looking for it. Whew! BUT she didn't have the key to the door of the building...I spent another hour standing outside my apartment building buzzing random people. No one let me in. -_- Well, maybe cos it was 3am and perhaps everyone was asleep already?
I gave up and called Lucas. Felt bad for waking him up in the middle of the night. And now, I'm finally home! aaahhh.... :)

1:39 am - company of new roommate(s)
|
I think I have a new room-mate I was not aware of until lately...
There's a freaking mouse in my apartment.
!@#$%^&*(!!
I demand for the little fucker to move the hell out. NOW! It's not even paying rent, dammit! Aaaccckkkk. From all those nights of being unable to fall asleep, I've walked back and forth, round and around my apartment from the bedroom to the bathroom to the bedroom to the kitchen... I think the little shit goes on these rounds like I do too. I've spotted it a few times now.
What do I do?? Cos I can't imagine setting up a mouse trap. Who the hell's going to clear its trapped body, frozen in mid-struggle, when it gets caught? Who, who?? You see, I've done that before for a friend. I'd scrapped a little grey mouse with its melted half-cooked tail from her stove. I needed intervention for my anxiety after that. Not fun.
I don't think I'll wanna do anything like that again.
Yeah. Well, I was brave. I mean, you never know what you can(not) handle until you've given things a shot right? I held my breath and winced at the images of myself in my mind vomitting half-digested grey mice, swallowing it back down only to throw it all up again. *gag*
Not to mention that I've also been finding more spiders and house centipedes in my bathtub on too many occasions since the weather got warmer. Fff...

Not that I like to bitch, whine, and gripe; lamenting the same shit over and over again...but this freakin issue of having trouble falling asleep is really fucking me over. Walking around grumpy and zombified have to stop already. Last night's 4.30am was probably the earliest bedtime I've had in the past week or so. !@#$%^?!! It was inevitably hard getting out of bed this morning for the only day of classes I have this week.
This evening. Thanks to Henrietta and her craving for Rita's Ice, we walked about twenty blocks to center city for some Rita's. I had some gelati -- Berry Banana with Chocolate/Vanilla twist custard. Henrietta had an entire quart of Mango ice. GO Ms. Genfi! That girl has some serious addiction issues. haha... But I should not speak too soon, I just might be accompanying her to RIA*.
We watched Click later in the evening.
DO NOT be deceived by the Click's comedic trailers. So you think it's just another funny Adam Sandler movie huh. How sweet and hilarious he was in 50 First Dates; how he made you pee your pants in Billy Madison and Happy Gilmore...Don't get me wrong though. I absolutely adore Adam Sandler!
Hetty and I laughed our butts off through the movie. But we were fooled. It was all good...until we found ourselves bawling our mf eyes. I did not surprise me. I admit that I'm a crybaby. I cried watching Cheaper By The Dozen -_- What do you think? And if I weren't in the cinema, Click would have had me wailing the way Diane Keaton did in Something's Gotta Give. Hetty, on the other hand, has never really cried in movies. She tears but seldom cry. Mind you, this cold-hearted biiiaatch didn't even shed a tear in The Notebook! (LoL!) But tonight...tonight, she sobbed. Hard. Her shoulders, they shook.
Click.
There was serious deliberation before buying tickets to the movie though. Should we sneak into the theater...again?? Yikes!! Hehe. Too much money spent on movies this past couple of months, aaaccckk! Aaaaaand, a bunch of us have bought our tickets for Pirates Of The Caribbean for tomorrow evening. Suzie, Jill, Maria and company...

9:23 pm - 4th of July adventures
|
Walked almost 30 blocks to the Philadelphia Art Museum to hang out with thousands of people along the ben franklin parkway. Fun! Nothing more entertaining than performances by Cirque De Soleil and Lionel Richie, and somewhere in there, was also mildly entertained by some random guy with heavy beer breath hitting on me. He couldn't stop talking to me, blah blah blah...even interrupting the long-awaited display of fireworks to invite me to a metal concert afterwards -_- yeeeaahh, riiiiight.
BUT the brightly lit sky and the deafening explosive sounds (like music to my ears) were the highlight of the evening - FIREWORKDS IN THE RAIN! sweeeet :)

Then it was like a mass exodus from the Art Museum area. And we found ourselves walking onto the interstate. What to do! Climb over the tall fence of course. So somewhere between taking off my shoes and climbing the tall fence in my skirt as glamorously as I could, I managed to get a sharp splint in my heel. !@#$%^&!??!! Half-limped another gazillion blocks to take the Blue Line. Couldn't wait to get home to start my mini operation on my heel. Tweezers and nail clippers in hand and wishing I had a couple more hands. Finally pulled that little fucker out! Relief.
