12:29p - Hmmm...Testing luck.
Well, there have been a lot of things going on in my life right now.
For one, I was snowed in yesterday due to the snow storm, but still meandered about and had lunch with my best buddy Brooke! It's really too bad that she's up north now.. I miss her!
Well, the other thing. Valentine's Day. Not only does a person from my past completely take me from surprise and come back into my life (although he's not doing too much as far as keeping me attune to what he wants) but I got a phone call I didn't expect to receive. A couple days prior to Valentine's Day, Julie and I were at Martini's up at Polaris eating with her parents and Angie. Well, while we were waiting for our table, Julie and I went up to the bar to get some drinks. Well, this guy approached me and started talking to me. His name was Jeff, and at the time, I didn't remotely think that he was that much older than me. He asked for my number, and since I'm not officially taken by anyone, I gave it to him. Well, he called... late on Valentine's Day, which I thought was kind of tacky, but he did actually call. (Which is more I can say for Mike)
Turns out, he's a corp exec for a company (which I don't know because I was in awe that he called) and travels a lot...and is twenty-nine years old. I didn't think that when I met him, and when he found out my age, he didn't think I was that young. So, needless to say, we both were surprised. Well, I talked to him for awhile, and he e-mailed... so we'll see where this goes. Elizabeth said to be weary about the age thing, and I am- very weary about it, because I don't know about this older thing. Now 3-4 years older is one thing, but almost 10 years older? That's a lot. I'm not someone that judges on age, so I'm not going to keep saying, "Man that's old" because who knows.
We'll see where this goes.... I'll keep everyone posted.
