11:01a - School, work, sorority...that's my life
Not that I'm complaining, but my life consists of school...which is fine now that I've changed my major... sorority...which is fine now that formal recruitment is over, and then work...which is fine now that the holiday season is over.

Despite the fact that I have to be driven around my various people to get where I want to go because my car is still in the shop and is going to be there for about a week and a half because they're looking for parts, everything might be fine and dandy. I switched my major, too, which I guess is a monumental thing in my life. I decided to do something that I wanted to do versus something people told me I would be good at. I was majoring in marketing partly because one day in the spring I was over at my then-boyfriend Matt's house, and his parents' friend was visiting from Michigan. Well, Matt had made bought this garden knome and painted it a variety of different colors. I went on a usual rant of what he could do with that knome- stories, kids' movies, coloring books, you name it, I thought of it. Well, Matt's parents' friend asked me if I ever thought of a career in marketing. I said I hadn't. That started it all. Then the encouragement from family and friends boosted the idea to major in it. Needless to say, the marketing classes probably will be more fulfilled as GEC's for my new major, poli sci. Let's just say this major encompasses a little bit more writing (actually, a lot more- which is a strength of mine) and less math (which is a vice of mine- I'm bad at it, and I HATE ACCOUNTING.) So, I think I'm much happier with this new found major.

I think I'm going to get a Bachelor in Science versus a Bachelor in the Arts though. I'm probably going to sign up for some of the more advanced Bio courses (b/c I really like them and I don't find them too hard) at Columbus State, and then have those credits transfer over. It doesn't take much more for a BS than a BA, so I might as well go for the one I want. :)

Then, Lewis (who I continually bug about my future and how to procede about getting there...) suggested that I go to some of the information sessions at the OSU Law School. Even though I really have no intentions of going to that law school, it will give me information on how to prepare for it.

Well, gotta do some stats before stats class. :)

More later.
