Okay, so my mother is driving me around- literally, and driving me nuts, literally. I can't wait until my car is fixed. They actually called to say that they took the car to Germain over in Powell, so at least I know it's going to get fixed. We haven't heard about what the deductable will be, but we'll figure that out soon.
Then, my sister Jenny is studying abroad and will be moving out of the sorority house in a couple of weeks, so that leaves a space for me to move in!! Because of the weather and me taking most of my classes at the Delaware campus, I probably won't move in until before spring break (which is still undecided.....arrgh!) but it's the fact that I have a room and an option to move in there!!! I'll be in the room "the fishbowl". It's actually quite pretty, and close to my big sis Amanda's mouse mansion, so it works!! I'm so excited.
We're also planning formal for my sorority, which is our annual Rose Formal. Last year it was on a riverboat in Cinci, this year we planned it to be at Cosi. It will be nice because it will have a themed room, and we don't have to spend that much on decorations. That and I get to wear a fancy dress. :) Don't have a date, but that'll come eventually because I will be going to the formal no matter what. :) We got new members in the sorority which is awesome. I feel old to them, which is good because now I don't feel like the newest members. I'm also exicted because I get to work with Mega on educating them about anything and everything about DZ! Wahoo!!
Classes. Accounting is hell. Let's just leave it at that. My poli sci class is so interesting that I'm seriously thinking of changing my major. I talked to Louis about it the other day, but her persuaded me to stick through accounting because it would be good knowledge, and to get into the marketing courses before deciding against it. I'm going to take his advice and do it, because even if I like marketing, I can always do poli sci as a minor. He also gave me an idea about going to OSU for law school (Dad said he'd pay for it then, which saves me the loans) and then take a loan out to go to UCLA for their 2 year law teaching program, and end up teaching law because whenever you work for a firm, he said that who would you pick- the one with more experience and knowledge (the teacher) and he said you can gain great contacts teaching, and it's extra money. I'm still kinda set on UCLA for law school in general, but maybe if I wisen up in the next couple years I'll look and see that OSU is 14 on the law school list, and OSU just keeps getting better and better in general. :) I also talked to Louis about studying abroad in Italy, which I might do Spring quarter of next year or for a summer. We'll see. So many options. That's always my problem!!!
I went to Starbucks this morning. I thought of Adam because he and I would always go to Starbucks when he was down here and always got the White Maciato (spelling is badd on that one) with extra white mocha white mocha as they would say. I got it. Just thought I'd mention that, Adam- I thought of you today! Don't hear from him... he's very busy with band, Sarah, and school.... :P
I found my Photoshop CD. It made my day yesterday. That and the way to make mp3 files on my computer using music match. I was playing around with it yesterday and I figured out how to copy my CD's onto my hard drive. Hehe. 431 music files, and more to come because I'm going to borrow some of my Dad's jazz CD's and put them on here. That will definately lessen the amount of CD's I take with me to the sorority house when I move in, because as James says, I'm a music freak, and without it I don't think I could survive. It's a good thing the house has a piano, too. Though I don't play it often, I'm beginning to play it more and more when I have free time to get my mind off of school and work and other things.
I also want to say congrats to James for getting voted to be recruitment whatever they call it at his fraternity, Chi Psi. Even though he says he doesn't want the position, I know in his heart he would like to have it. :P Speaking of fraternities, the FIJI's are making a comeback on OSU's campus. They got booted off campus a couple years ago, and are now going to occupy the Alpha Delta Pi house that is now vacant because of various reasons. That will be interesting, and I bid them luck at being the only dry fraternity house on campus. *sighs* I don't beleive that will hold to be true, since most of the frats are *never* dry, but I bid them luck and hope they will do better this time around.
Alrighty. Best be going. Have to get things altered because I'm short and they make pants too long.
More later!!!!
