Yesterday I participated in my second martial arts tournament. I had a great time. And though I didn't win anything, it was still a blast. Again, I won my first fight, but lost my second...I'll admit, I was a bit sad about that but at the same time, it didn't bother me as much as my loss in forms. I thought my form was a lot better than the guys that won in my ring. I thought I had it in the bag. One of the guys that won even messed up and had to start over again. That must mean my form really sucked! But I know it didn't...oh well its really no biggie, but I've never won a trophy, (I think) and would really like to one day. My school did great though. You shoulda seen karate girls form...it was great: noble and incredibly elegant. I wanna be as good as her one day. Our school didn't win a bunch of trophies, but you can tell just watching that we are a cut above the rest. I'm very lucky to have chosen the school I did, as my sensei is just great...I can't say enough good things about him. Of course it helps that karate girl is in my class too. Why? Cuz she's fly! Well, can't wait til Sept. when they have a tournament in Vegas. I'll probably compete in that one too. Hmm...this entry is kinda bland.
