Subject:Two poems I've just wrote, one with the left side of my brain, and one with the right.
Time:11:05 am.
Mood: confused.
Music:the one that doesn't sound like anything.
UNTITLED:

Within the thrall of one's device
are careless ways to un-entice
the metered thought that thought convey,
of falling much too fast per say
does much to turn one inside out
and stifle that with which without
one cannot hope to love confide,
instead to stress, to certain chide.
And from this leave one in the dark
beget of smothering that spark
that carried with it soft delight
I wish I may, I wish I might,
divulge the words of feelings flight.

THE SOFTEST KISS

This kiss, like rain
too warm to chill, too soft to bring with it
a rainstorms ills
trickles gently down a flushed cheek.
This kiss, like a fallen leaf
that meekly crunches underfeet
into a whispyness that leads one to wonder
if it ever was...
This kiss, like the tension on the surface of water,
that holds on, ever so gently
to anything that caresses it surface...
well, its like but backwards,
if you can get what I mean
as lips push each other away
from fear of the heart just stopping,
only to come together once more
so that the fear will never go away.
This kiss, like dreams
seems so without substance,
yet is the fiber of all, that one of my kind seeks.
Tis' a burden to words, this kiss
for it demeans and taunts them
from the heights unto which it carries the soul.
I'll speak no more of this kiss
for its a burden to me as well
that naught but another kiss could quell.

Sincerely,
M
