What’s the recipe for an interesting story? You need an interesting character, an intriguing conflict, a riveting climax and a heartfelt ending. Behind all these, you need a genius story teller.
One of the most talked about indie film in Cinemalaya last year. It features the equally controversial Baron Geisler.
We would get a glimpse how a story is weaved to make it TV worthy. Filipinos are hooked on drama and it has been as staple as rice on our dinner table. We love to see people bawl their eyes out in interviews. It’s like a fiesta when a celebrity “washes her laundry in public.” That would surely bring every reporter at your doorstep even in the wee hours of the morning.
Kung boss niya ako, bibigyan ko siya ng raise dahil talagang dedicated siya sa work nya to the point that he’s being unscrupulous.
The director showed how some people loved to be in the spotlight. They don’t mind if they are exploited already.
“Jay” exposed another face of reality. Movies and TV series are based on real life but sometimes you have to bend some truths to make it look better. |
