Current mood: sleepy. Current music: ABBA.
1. What was I doing 10 years ago? Well that was 1998. I was in year 8. I would have just got my braces off, I had bad hair, bad skin and was awkwardly growing. I went to a country high school – Wangaratta High.
I played netball on Saturday mornings, my favourite music was top 40, I liked buffy, and party of 5 type shows. I think my favourite movie that year was jerry Maguire.
2. What are 5 things on my to-do list today- not in any particular order? - Homework - finish my rainbow brite embroidery - Find a new place to live – I’ve just been given 60 days notice cause the owner is selling - Buy a new camera battery so I can take pretty pictures for flickr – especially of my house. Everything is where I want it to be and now I have to leave… - research things to do in Malaysia – I want to go there on a shopping holiday at the end of the year but it would be good to do some other things as well.
3. Snacks I enjoy. - Tasty jacks’ barbeque chips - fluff on toast… um marshmallow fluff - A chilled caromellow koala chocolate - Humus with celery and carrot and pita bread - Ice cream – most flavours!
4. Places I’ve lived Out in bush suburbs of Melbourne – Warrandyte, then when I was four we moved to Taminick – basically in the middle of the bush outside of Wangaratta, then we moved closer to Thoona than Wangaratta about a year later.
this shows a close up of where I live – the two little blue dots near the mountain range are my orchard. This is an overview of the district…

Then I moved again in year 10, 2000, when I moved to PLC to go to boarding school. Then after I graduated in 2002 I moved home then to start uni the next year I moved to hawthorn east – then after three years I moved to Camberwell – it is the same melways page, then last year I moved where I am now hawthorn east again. And I’m about to move again, probably back to Camberwell or maybe just plain old hawthorn.
Oh and I also lived in New York for three months. I lived near East 13th st and 3 and 4th avenues. I lived in a studio apartment with five other people. My bedroom was cornered off with wardrobes.
5. Things I would do if I were a billionaire Buy a hot house so I wouldn’t have to move ever again if I didn’t want to, donate some, go on a shopping spree, get laser hair removal, then I would take all my friends overseas to partay. Seriously I want to travel and what better way than with all your friends. I would give a share to my family, especially my parents because I owe them money for living and whatnot and my aunty. Um invest some? I would still need to get a job so I would probably start my own publishing house so I could have a job that I don’t need to write up a résumé again! 6. What are some jobs you’ve had? First job was helping selling peaches at trash and treasure markets. We used to sell our fruit there. I had to suit on a cushion in between the driver’s seat and the other seat in the truck. Yes on top of the gears. We called it the squash posh. I was about 4 when we started and probably about 8-10 when I finally got a proper seat. My younger sister Tori sat there for about a year and Jacquie the baby sat there twice. Then I started helping out in the fruit packing shed, doing all sorts of odd jobs. Then I did housework when I got older. Once I went to Melbourne to go to uni I got a job at target where I did checkout, refunds, reception, cosmetics, ladies wear, fitting rooms, lay-by, door checker, and whatever else was needed. Then I quit that to go work at Bust Magazine, where I was a slave! Nah not really it wasn’t that bad. I did lots of picking up and delivering, fact checking, cleaning, answering the phones badly – because I couldn’t understand what people where saying and they couldn’t understand me. I also did website maintenance. Yay. Then when I came back I got a job at this It company, where I arranged for technicians to go onsite to do repairs – it was crap. Customers treated you badly and I was expected to make miracles happen. And was underappreciated! I then quit cause it sucked so much… then i got a job in retail again. Hated it, liked it for a while and now hate it again. I hated it to begin with because the manager yelled at me… but she likes me now so it was ok for a while but the new assistant manager is a total bitch. Who belittles me and nit picks everything I do. I have never worked with anyone I’ve disliked so much before. I’m really struggling. The manager thinks she picks on me so is going to tell her off. Hopefully that will stop it and it will go back to being good again…
Oh and I’ve also done lots of freelance writing, I did some volunteer stuff at a shop in Camberwell, and I did some writing for a business that sent out stock market reports – that was crap too… but mainly cause it was so boring. So very boring… Now I want to get another job – probably just making coffee at a publishing house but I need a foot in the door. Sigh.
