As of today, this journal is (mostly) friends only. If we are friends and you still can't see certain entries anymore, it's because I made rather a lot of entries private in the process of f-locking my archive. My Doctor Who reviews will remain unlocked. If you would like me to add you as a friend - and I'd love to, given that I know and like you - please comment on this post. Since I can't screen comments on Blurty, I will proceed to delete them as soon as I've read them. And if you're just here for Doctor Who - well, you're gonna have to wait until Christmas to hear from me again!

So, in order to keep my anxiety about tonight somewhat at bay, I decided to focus my excess nervous energy on writing a 2800 word review of The Stolen Kerjigger. I realise most everything's been said about it at this point, but here be my thoughts about it for posterity, anyway.
Underneath the cuts, there be spoilers for DW 4x12 - The Stolen Earth. No spoilers beyond that (and please let's keep it that way - I do NOT want to know what happens tonight in advance), no speculation, just many words of love.

I am in no way spoiled other than for the cast, so please, please, please let me remain oblivious and don't spoil me, or even so much as hint at anything you know of, okay? Thank you!

All that said? Despite the sound of it, I'm not really thinking about it. Not in terms of plot, or in terms of what actually will or won't happen. There are people far more creative and talented to make all that up. None of these things are guesses as to what will happen; they're just what I would love to see happen. Me, I'm just going to sit back and enjoy the ride, watching it all unravel, because one way or another? I know it's going to be AWESOME. And I know I'll like it.

I have to say, I'm glad we get a week off next week - fandom is so very exhausting. Trailer looks brilliant, so I'm looking forward to the next ep and hope that Mr Moffat worked his magic again rather than his ego this time around. We shall see.

It's funny - I've rarely paused and rewinded certain bits of an episode so many times, not for lack of understanding, but because the dialogue was so brillant, while at the same time finishing it with the feeling that I don't really need to watch it ever again.

I jammed my thumb today and nearly fainted. It hurts and is slowly turning blue. Ow. All of this has given me a pain headache, so I'll have to be bullet-pointy today, I'm afraid.
