This can provide some very interesting information, particularly in areas with microclimates, such as San Francisco. For example, summer in San Francisco can be particularly cold and foggy, and this map can help you to find a sunnier area of the city to visit. Clicking on the web cams give you a visual observation from a given location. Looking at wind direction can help you locate approaching weather fronts. |
| 12:07p | Pictures I walked around the yard yesterday afternoon, it reached a whopping 40 degrees for the high, so I felt like trying to find some interesting things to take pictures of. I don't think I did too bad. I resized them to make them easier to look at. Let me know what you think.  Sign on the fence.  I think its called a burr bush?  Cat toys. I was trying to get the color on the inside of the clear ball.  Green mold or moss?  Hello Kitty toy in neighbors yard, been there awhile, lol.  Hello Kitty closer.  I have no idea what it is. I know it blooms in the spring, lol.  I don't think this is the same as the last but I still don't know what it is.  Green is trying to show thru!  Close up of George, one of 3 cats, paw.  Emily getting George to stretch for me.  Ice and snow melting! YAY!  More drainage from meltage!  Iris trying to peek its way thru  I flipped the camera under the ice and snapped it. It turned out pretty good. See the "meltage" stream?  A driveway puddle..Its pretty much a muddy pit now with tire tracks all in it.  Rotting wood. Hmmmm...I wonder how log thats sat in the yard.  Another drain pipe from the rooftop.  Another snow melting shot. I flipped it. See the shovel against the house?  Looking up one of the trees in the back yard. I don't know why but this looks really cool to me.  Looking up another tree.  Embarrassed to see what my neighbors see when they look into my garage window.  Our old worn out wood numbers on our house. |
