Flu of 2008
It has been a battle. But I am (hoping this time) I am finally on the uphill now.
I had to battle a really bad bronchitis for about a month and a half.
Then the day after my second round of a different antibiotic had finally ended, I was feeling absolutely terrific. Best I felt in awhile.
Then the very next stinking day I awoke with the flu.
Then the Dr put me on more meds (tamiflu being one and my bronchitis cough had again returned full force).
I slept for 2 days...isnt that crazy? I still cannot believe it.
I'd get up to get a drink, go potty and BAM right back out again as soon as my head hit the pillow.
Freaked my kids out, they would come up to me and wake me up to make sure I was still here...
I got mad at that - so then they started coming into my room and feeling my forehead and they figured if it wasnt cold then...I was still here.
This flu bug going around is really terrible.
First Emily got it. Then I got it. Then Mark (my bro in law who lives here) got it and still has it..but I think he's on the uphill also but just begining. He's about a day behind me, I think.
Last night Tim Sr came down with it...
Tim Jr is the only one left and tonight after he got in from work he let me know he didnt feel well.
Theres nothing like doing something as a family dag-nab it! lmao.
Well we have to be almost done and have it kicked soon.
Does anyone know if you can get the same flu more than once?
And BTW.....The older i get the harder this "crapola" takes a toll on me and is so much harder to kick.
Something I do find odd about watching all of us get this is there are a little differences in it.. Like Mark and Tims throats bothered them.
I didnt have any problem at all with a sore throat. Neither of them (as of yet for Tim) slept like I did. Emily, however did sleep for one entire day.
Strange what the differences are though.
