Shingles- not on a roof anyone? Yesterday, I was getting dressed and my husband noticed a strange looking rash on my back. It had a pattern to it and was really weird looking. I went for the dozen blood tests today that I was scheduled for. While I was going to be there 2 or more hours for these (sugar testing), I told the desk about it and asked if I could maybe see the Dr since I was in the building and they made me an appointment for after my first series of blood draws.
As soon as I seen him and showed him he told me that I have shingles. And put me on a steroid and antibiotic. Along with all that other crapola I already have to take. I told him I feel like Im a mess, and I really do. But he said dont worry you`ll be fine. SInce then I have been couch bound and not much else up until this now point. I dunno if its cuz I should be sick or really am sick. I just feel exhausted. I told my husband that many many times yesterday. Of course I slept terribly cuz I was worried and it didnt help that when hubby came in from work at 4:30 am that he flipped on our light cuz he wanted to look at it again. I wasnt asleep but all he did was make me think about it some more.... Ive also been achy all day...everywhere. Im unsure if its my mind playing tricks on me though. I just decided to take it easy and just rest.
We got home earlier and while we were away apparently a sherriff was by the house to serve us with papers on a lawsuit. Its a combined lawsuit of past medical bills. Over 3000.00 dollars. Its gonna be a bad Christmas this year.
While I was getting my second series of blood drawn I told the "blood lady" (I have no idea what their called) that I had seen the Dr. Told her what he said and I told her "Its such fun getting old, Lets see what you can find wrong with me now".
Nonetheless a bad day and a headache that wont go away! |
