11:24 am	Ugg boots in Claires Accessories You may recall me having one of my rants about parents that fork out ??120-??180 on a pair of Ugg boots for their children because all the other children are wearing them. A few years ago it used to be the same with so called designer football boots. Cincinnati Reds Today in La Canada we passed Claires Accessories and there at the front of the shop were the exact, well near enough, copies of the knitted cardi Ugg boots that retail in the UK for upwards of ??120. In Claires Accessories they were just under 25 euros. My daughter bought a pair of pretty short fringed black boots for the same price. Perfectly good boots, they will last the season until her feet grow and a fraction of the price of Ugg boots. Ugg fans talk of how warm your feet are in the fleece, but we don’t get snow or ice in Marbella so we’ll cope. We also can avoid wearing them on rainy days, as we don’t get many rainy days here, so the suede will probably last too. The boots were mostly English size 5 and 6 and although they had quite a few grey, granny cardi style boots there weren’t many fringed pairs left, so although we are still in the middle of summer, if you want a pair, get down to La Canada quickly….. With the change of the ??120 it would have cost me for the real things I treated us all to carrot cake, smoothies and chocolate muffins at Terra Sana and bought my daughter her school bag for next term.
