way to go for me and my willpower

mood: accomplished
Okay, so I got up this morning and showered, and went to my four classes. When I got hungry midday, I bought a banana. I only had a few sodas -- mostly, I had green tea with honey. I can't forget my water bottle at the apartment anymore, though, or I'm going to run out of flex dollars by Samhain! I saw Louis today, which was nice, because I never see him. I told him I saw his blonde clone more than I saw him, and this clone is running rampant on campus like an STD. We also talked about how my Readings in Humanities professor is a waste of space. She's one of those people that would go on safari in designer khakis. She's Mrs. Clark. Arghh. I also lunched with Cara.

Anyway, I came back knowing that I needed to do my strength training and my laundry. Talked to my mom on the phone, continuing to rant about the Humanities issue. When I got to my building, I saw that they were bringing us another new refrigerator. Apparently, the freezer in the one they brought us last night didn't work. Only today, I was all by myself. Which means that, yes, kids, I had to unload and then reload the refrigerator all by myself.

Oh well, I survived. And even though it took a decent chunk out of my afternoon, I still did my weights! I'm currently in the process of doing my laundry, too. So I did what I had to do today, folks.

My baby's at work until 8, so I'll probably go read my book while my clothes dry, and then come back here and take a little nappy-nap to the tunes of hurricane Isabel (which, thus far, has produced only wind here) while awaiting his phone call.

That's all for now. If I get bored, I'll be back. =)

Hoping your legs work better than mine right now,
Jess

  You're a PANTSER! A pantser writes without
forethought to where the plot is going--sort of
by the seat of her pants method. You're a free
spirited, creative person. You write with
passion about what inspires you at the moment,
and you probably have a strong voice. Don't
worry about writers block--you've a different
story. You've got more story seeds than a hive
has bees. When you write, its in disjointed
segments. You may write sequentially or in
flashes of inspiration, where you connect all
your flashes later. People might say you
ramble a bit in your work. Your revision
process might take several passes, because you
really have to whip that first draft into a
more marketable shape. You're novels either hit
it big or miss. There's no in between. Readers
either love you, or hate you. Learn to channel
that creative energy into a masterpiece and
well be seeing your name on the NYT Lists!

You represent... angst.
You represent... angst.
You have an extremely cynical outlook on just about
everything. It's okay to sulk and be
depressed, but life is short, and you only get
one. It's only what you make it, and only you
can make it improve.

What feeling do you represent?

Who, me? Angst ridden? *blinks*

My inner child is sixteen years old today

My inner child is sixteen years old!

Life's not fair! It's never been fair, but while
adults might just accept that, I know
something's gotta change. And it's gonna
change, just as soon as I become an adult and
get some power of my own.

How Old is Your Inner Child?
