Well believe it or not finally managed to get that 26 e-mail's down to about 3, one of them is a Production Company, one is a record label and one is a lawyer which are three very good contacts to have, so I'm staying pretty open on those, but in all honesty....it just seem's to be that working away on it from my own end here....is really the only thing that's going to ensure that anything get's done. I mean there's a lot of talk in Hollywood, in fact there's a lot of talk everywhere.....but in real terms, charges that various promotions companies, network agents etc cost just to get it in front of the right people, well, by the time I'd finished paying them, I could have create the thing and probably advertised it and given it away free to friends and saved myself a shitload of money.....lol....so you've got to have good attitude when you do something like this....because otherwise you'd just end up in a foul mood.
Sure I can't help but be a little envious of those that have made it....and made the millions along the way....but hey...if I finally finish this thing...at some stage...which I'm pretty sure I will with amended scripts....and most likely a purchase of the standard script writing software recommended by the Production Company still maintaining friendly dialogue with me...... well I would have forfilled a childhood goal....(even if it is the most twisted movie out there lol).
In term's of one of the talent agencies, I'm a little disappointed, after being asked to read their contract and make necessary changes and get back to them, I haven't heard a thing....so maybe I should call them. But if my questions regarding the contract were a little too probing....well I'll understand also.....
Other new's well as far as my gum's go, it's the second day, with the non-active agent remedy...and it's gone pretty well, I'm not consciously aware of any real nagging pain, which makes quite a difference from the point when I removed the filling for the first time, I'm kind of hoping that after a few more day's the results are the same....because it's defiantly more comfortable when its filled....which if you re-call the Periodontist didn't recommend, so I can't really say I think much of them. ...I mean if it's some kind of sick experiment in determining how much pain a person can take....like I said...it's pretty sick...
so anyway...all I'm saying at this stage....is believe it or not....."Animation on this production is set to resume tomorrow"....all prior commitments to networking members of the industry have been met in real terms and in terms of what can be done from Australia, there are a few remaining phone call's to be made, but at this stage, nothing that requires burning more brain power than I want to burn...lol
So with that I'm going to have a shower...and feel somewhat relieved..... it took about a three week period to handle a 27,000 letter mail out....with follow up...which again...while no major contract's have been awarded...I really don't think they will be until we have a final product out on the market....but people at least know we're here and willing to work with them..
Next.....well there are numerous casting call's on the agency platform so as time permit's I'll move to apply for some of those.......and in the meantime...as usual work through things from this end....as best I can...
so time for a shower...then thankfully to bed...night all.
