So today, went to the first legal aid appointment for the week regarding the 8 week non-payment period which I served, which personally I feel was not right to impose upon me, and I don't say it because I don't think I should have to do the program, I feel that there numerous area's of conflict of the law in that legislation, and personally I think it's criminal.
So I contest it...simple as that.
I arrived at the appointment, the woman, whose name, I have to admit, I didn't catch, seemed quite pleasant and quite helpful. But let's face it while not being a lawyer, I do read about the law and feel that I have the right to defend my position, and let's face it despite bringing to her attention many area's where I feel the law is in conflict, this didn't seem to affect her.
I won't rerun the whole conversation, but basically I was informed, Parliament make the law, if I want to change it, write to my local M. P. Following that I was informed that lawyers enforce the law. Now I guess that's where our opinion's diverge because I feel that lawyers defend the innocent. You know innocent until proven guilty ?
And I do not feel that I have committed a crime by not signing the work for the dole agreement. However as she refers to it, I've served my punishment. And I say, you don't punish the innocent.
As I bought to her attention, how is one expected to write to an M. P., how is one expected to feed oneself, how is one meant to move from one point to another if they are being punished. To me that is attempted murder.
How can one implement a policy to pay people to have children when they do not have job's to put those children in at a level other than what could constitute slavery .e.g. food and clothing, but little else to pay for what one would consider essentials to survive e.g. health care, housing, entertainment and social well being. .... I call that Genocide of a select section of the community.
Of course I can't say how my thought's affected her, but I found this interesting....she said to me if I protest this so much get a group of say 10 of my "unemployed friends" together and "rally" Parliament...it wasn't quite put like that, but something similar, I pointed out to her, that I don't know anyone who is unemployed, all my friends are paid professionals, to which she replied, "Oh, well then they probably wouldn't care anyway". That of course surprised me and perhaps I wasn't meant to pick up the message that was being delivered. ....but it really does re-enforce some of my opinions about life.
You know Dad has said to me, the root of all evil is greed, and you know what...I really do think I agree....because let's face it....why don't I have work (which I do, however the Government is prepared to pay for it), and why am I not entitled to full pay ? Is it because there's not enough money in the economy to support industry development for my area's of work interest ? Or is it because they're robbing Peter to pay Paul. I mean if you don't have enough money coming into an economy, how are you going to pay all those Super pay outs....I mean at the moment....they're trying to borrow from hedge funds to buy other investments....I mean you have pieces of paper....really of no worth other than the buying price..."I'll sell you this sheet of paper for $10.00, it's only worth about 10 cents in real terms...but there is someone else out there stupid enough to pay me $10.50 for it so you make a profit. Understand what I'm saying....it's a false economy....and of course I could go on about it.....but I'm not going to...what I will say however....is those without job's should not be punished by those already receiving good incomes....just so that there's a few dollars left over to fund super for those already making a good living ...and that really isn't the only problem is it...but I don't need to go on....
There's work waiting to be done...so bye for now...

Oh yeah...and I did get a little annoyed because she kept referring to my business as a hobby business....if it were a hobby business...it would not be running everyday....it is done for the propose of making a commercial gain...simple as that...sorry to disappoint everyone....but I need to make a living...

Oh yeah....and made a small purchase in terms of building that Jewelry item I've been planning to make....I've seen some other really cool resources....so I might make something else as well...very raw....most likely not fashionable...but so punk rock raw man...it's going to totally rock..however...big problem is....I actually have to get a lot of paperwork ready for the next legal aid appointment which is re : the alleged assault....so that's going to take up most of this week...sadly....

Called the Dentist....and they do have an appointment available this Wednesday, but my finances....are saying ....no ....not this week...and apparently they don't have anything again till May...so I'm going to hold my position on that for the moment...because despite it being a priority....I'm not going to put myself in any precarious money situations...and do actually have to buy a piece of equipment...that is required, like Yesterday.
So that is the news.
