Well people are probably wondering why I haven't updated the news section recently and I will get to that...but for the moment I guess it's best that you know it's a change in procedure. Basically updating the news section every week is a hassle and wastes precious time. Yeah I know but it keeps us informed...well you still will be...just fortnightly .....
Starting this week..
Other than that....I've updated the Business Assets page....
http://www.lipcrack.com/bassets.htm
I just think for the record if I ever sell Lipcrack.com or if someone else takes it over...like when I die...well it does have a business process...and when I can...I try to update it as best as possible..
At the moment there are a few things missing....but what's missing is listed to do on the page...
So it's not all bad...
That's all ...so yeah...just following up on a few business items then it's back to animating...maybe later this evening....
Oh yeah...a lot of people have made mention that there's some traps with this site...fact is...if I were ever to sell it....I have to make the buyer aware of all the in's and out's of the site. Basically a price would be settled on each items as per it's saleable price....which means if someone wanted to buy the mailing system and lists they could...if they wanted to buy the scripts they could..but fact is...each section has it's own price...and of course if the site was sold complete....e.g. with all art items.....it would be a different price...and it doesn't take business logic to work that out...and if fact...really there are two items to be completed on this site and that includes the list of marketing tools for Internet marketing ..and the 3-D Schooling documents and software for the development of a 3-D animation school...
So yeah...it's a slow process...but at least ...it's happening...sort off...and you'll be happy to know I have purchased a book on developing it further...maybe as a Company...so yeah...one step at a time...but I can hardly tell people what great animation products...blah...blah...we have...if they don't work.... ..
So bye for now...

Well I've just set the first animation sequence after the crash. I can't believe how long it takes, just to figure out how to get maybe six seconds of what I think is original footage....by that I mean, I don't think I've seen anyone else do that in film....but I don't want to go on about it, because usually after you've made a statement like that...you see something the next day..
Anyway as I've said....I've set up the scene...and now tomorrow I have to animate it...and I just did three test run's trying to work out how to get things to flow without any crashes....by that, I mean that's probably the most difficult thing about animating in 3-D, its getting an animation, so that none of the other props....etc, pass though each other in the sequence...You know when your dealing in physical reality, two objects can't pass through each other but on the screen, there's no way to determine if something has cleared the space of the inanimate object....
Blah...blah..
Anyway better have a shower and get to bed....looking forward to that tomorrow, after all the effort it's taken this afternoon.
