So monthly results are in for site visitors. Things are quite good in terms of an increase again, however there are a number of small peculiarities which may not be truly indicative of results that can be regarded as correct in terms of increases in site visitors.
I'm waiting for the hosting company to get back to me on a number of small issues, which may not really be as small as they seem. The fact that the Microsoft FTP is not working, or at least its functionality with the hosting department no longer works is an issue. Also I have concern's due to the hosting company providing a free domain, in terms of when the domain expires, we will continue to pay for it to maintain ownership. This may in fact be a very doggie move by ISP companies in order to state some claim to the domain. Basically I feel while we pay for it, we own it, simple as that.
Anyway I'm going to have another little snooze and get back to it in the morning. Mum and dad came home a night early...and despite the fact that I've only just got up, and should be facing the day with energy, I feel totally exhausted again...and that makes no sense...other than maybe because I haven't had a day off...not sure on that...my time clock never responds to a situation how I expect it too...
So back to rest and then onto the dental issues tomorrow.

Well I can't believe it, I've just gone to start putting models etc into the programs, and the D Drive is jammed. I mean how can you go from having a fully operational computer one day, to an almost non-operational computer the next...it doesn't make sense...however I feel that I've found the program that may be the culprit and it's a new fire walling system that I've installed. I didn't have a copy of the one I was using previously and checked out another that look quite good in terms of functions....and well as I said...that may be the problem...but things are not looking good from this end, that's for sure...but I'm not going to freak out...there may be a way to fix it...however as I've said, dental gear is of most importance today...

I don't even think it's got a disc in it that would jam it....

Actually I have no doubt that it's someone accessing the hard drive via the firewall program and removing .dll files.....simple as that.

But I guess I'll find out what problems there are having files and programs stored on the external storage device does, because I gather if I have to do another reinstall of this computer then I'll be able to determine if programs run from the external storage will still work, or if a new install will be required...and if that's the case...then this thing just is not worth the hassle.

As far as working out what that program is that crashed the system in terms of files, I think it's called LSA SHell which is found in the SYSTEM32 files under LSASS.exe..
that's what I believe ...

and I'm pretty sure the file is installed by the firewalling systems...not certain on that...but it's what I think.

If you go here it's got a bit of info about it.. http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/Aa378292.aspx
But basically as I said, someone most likely can log on via all number of unsecured ports on windows XP...even when running the firewall.

So contacted the organization that I was informed was the Dental Association by the Client Relations Officer, as it turns out the number she provided did not go to the Dental Association but to the Dental Hospital that provided the number to the Dental Association. Following that I contacted the organization and spoke with what apparently was the General Manager. I was informed that for them to look into anything they would need to know if the Dentist was a member of their "Stakeholder" organized member base. I was also informed that there services are to assist their members, so really in terms of what they can do for the public, it is nothing. Basically when I complained about their service, and requested the paperwork they provide to follow up on complaints they refused to until I submitted the names of the Dentists involved.
Personally I feel more than anything this is a service to notify dentists when action is being instigated against them.

Well believe it or not, I've loaded all model files on the computer, now they just need to be opened and put in the right directories...which isn't actually as simple as it sounds...however, that is defiantly it for today.
Goodnight
