So yesterday go to Centerlink to put in my form, basically due to Tax reasons, I've not had an opportunity to look for work, and considering that I should in fact now have a third breach in place not be eligible for benefit. On my form, in the state what job's you've looked for yes or no section I have applied the no, and stated the reasons as above.

However prior to this, I'm asked to take a seat, so that my form can be assessed. As usual I am required to ring a number, which I do, and results in a representative going over the reasons for my breaches, however not informing me as to whether a third has been put in place. I provide my reasons for not signing paperwork. Interesting enough as I do so, I run my hands over the side of the desk where I'm told to sit, no one is in attendance at this desk. My hand feel's a slight scratching on the desk. I look down, and someone has etched a symbol similar to the Nazi emblem. I think great, I bet their going to blame me for that too. Because fact is, the offices are monitored in part by camera, and I guess in part by staff. Now honestly I can see no way, in which this desk could have been defaced, you know you'd actually need a compass to do it, or a sharp nail, that however is beside the point.
Anyway I'm told a number of things regarding my right's which I dispute, and considering my tax return have every right to. Basically I ask the individual why she is providing me with incorrect information when the guide lines via taxation are quite straightforward on this matter. She get's annoyed, when I say she perhaps needs some more education on the matter and terminates the call, with the statement to some such similar effect, "Well perhaps because I'm not educated enough I don't need to continue this conversation".


I take the form back to the desk, am told it will take 20 minutes for the individual to document, so can I come back. Say yes, have a coffee, and come back to the office some time later. Sit down again, with a different rep : am asked why I responded this way to an individual who is in charge of my documents as it will do me no favors. Basically in some such terms reply it is not my duty to do anyone favors. I stick to the facts and that's it, if they don't like what they hear, that is not my problem.

Told that the matter still needs to be resolved and given the number again to call.
Do so, and am informed that, they will require a week to make a decision, as it is now required to go through a National Committee, and I will hear in a week. Informed also that given a report from the "Social Worker"....who has just appeared from thin air, perhaps out of my ass in a passing of gas, has applied breaches on advice from staff.

I question this "Social Worker?", at what stage have I spoken to a Social Worker ?
I'm informed that I haven't, I respond, "so you've made a decision based on a report from a social worker who has never met me ? ". Obviously I question the validity of this statement, and am told the conversation is terminated.

I go back to the desk and inform the representative of what has occurred. She say's that she will take the form and process it, however no monies will be paid into the account.

So in the meantime I gather that I will hear from someone within the week in writing to confirm what the breaches are, and what they are for.

Did my food shopping and today returned to tax paperwork, which as you can imagine, I have a number of questions regarding the tax file documents I received last year from the Tax Department.

Now as it stand's, it appears as though I have been charged $275 for management of tax affairs, which I gather they did, when they made changes to my tax records.
Now however having had a look at the changes, and I consider this has something to do with that figure I mentioned previously, which I shall get back to, however, if that is the amendment they have made, then they did not carry it down to the net income or loss from the figure, but rather carried down the total expenses, adding to the business loss by some over extravagant number of some $2900 odd dollars.

So despite the fact that I thought this would be finished by Monday, I gather its going to be spent on the phone determining why this occurred and why I was charged $275 dollars for it, which I will be asking for a refund for, or including on this years tax return.

Also amendments will be required.


Interestingly I was questioned about the business by the Center link Office as to how I could continue with such losses, however considering that it seem's that the Tax Department in part is responsible for the adjustments which are contributing to the loss, personally without being to rude....I consider they can go fuck themselves.

So other than that it's time to get back to the To Do list.

Other than that though, my tax records are in pretty good shape....lol.
