Okay something weird is going on here....
Now basically this is how it sits....just sat down to do my paperwork and go through the mail. Of course I've been expecting a letter from what one would assume is Wesley Uniting whatever, to turn up for my appointment time. (Of course I do have the statement from the Centerlink Office).
But you know what has ?? A second and final notice for my Activity Statements for the
January , February, March period. Now interestingly enough the first notice I received from them I thought they must have made a mistake because I've already put it in.
Now here's the interesting thing and I'm not sure if I mentioned it some time ago, probably under the "There's something Fishy Going On Here" banner, but I'll describe it briefly. I keep a pretty good eye on my bank balance, probably not as good as I should, but I would say reasonable. Anyway...you want to know what I thought was fishy and started following up on a couple of months ago ??. This is no bullshit, and who know's if you believe me or not...but I had the feeling that my bank details were being kind of swindled each time I received a small tax return from the Tax Office. Basically on the bank account, it seemed to me like it was being credited into the account as far as figures on paper go, but as far as actually seeing a bank balance increase it wasn't happening ....that probably doesn't make sense...but I made a couple of call's to the bank to determine what was going on there, I have to admit my mind was not completely reassured by the response I received, and I thought to myself I'll have to keep a tighter watch on that. Anyway basically today when I opened the second and final notice with fine and prison offence details for not supplying the information, basically I thought shit....I better follow this up, not only because I thought it was a bit of bullshit, but because I also thought something is going on here...and its something that I don't like.
So anyway the last few hours besides a visit from an old interstate friend of my parents, which was very interesting and took up half the evening, has been spent going through my tax records. Now this is evidence that I'm bringing to your attention but basically you know I am aware of the activity statement periods, which are
Jul, Aug, Sept
Oct, Nov , Dec
Jan, Feb, Mar
Apr, May, June
Now the Lipcrack Tour was in 2005 July/Aug. So as my cost's increased at that time, it
left a pretty good starting point to trace back the details of activity statements. Now since that time and including that time, there have been three deposits into my account from the taxation department. Now I don't think you need to be that smart to determine that if I've had three payments for three activity periods, that this only leaves the Apr May June period to attend to right ?? So I'm a little annoyed to say the least that I have this letter sitting in front of me demanding action for the Jan/Feb/March period, more interesting though, is that I am wondering if my assumptions on this matter were initially correct, and that someone in the Government is trying to cover something else up here ?? Which actually makes me pretty annoyed actually. However why would I be upset, I mean I've only just opened another piece of mail, which informs me that I've had my social security suspended for not putting in a review form that I received in the mail last form. I will point out that the review paper is basically paperwork to do with overall business performance and really shouldn't be done until all tax paper work is due...which I believe is this month....however the month isn't over, so 1. I would like to know why I've received this paperwork from the Australian Tax Department and
2. I would like to know why I've received the paperwork suspension when the paperwork had no return date on it, and it isn't even the end of the month regarding
Tax paperwork.
Actually I'm really quite shitty about it, however I thought I might add this interesting interlude to your day, as I've just spent the last three hours tracking down the fact that I have actually put my activity statement in, however I am not sure if the two payments from the tax office ever went into the account in terms of an increase in my bank balance or if in fact they are just numbers printed out on an electronic slip..
So you may in fact learn something from this. I know that I am...and I know my records are pretty good...I also think that a couple of pages are currently misplaced/missing ??(referring to this years tax records and not deliberately, however they do refer to this little dilemma, but the records on line, well they clearly indicate that the tax office supplied on paper, figures that would indicate that I'm correct in my above statements ..anyway ... I have the next few hours before the appointments tomorrow to find them...so really that is all...and I don't actually need that paperwork for the meetings. But I do need them to get this year's tax paperwork done..
So that's it...you'll here from me some time tomorrow...or the next day...Lipcrack updates will be at that time also...

Well I've made it to 6:00, so that's a pretty good indication that I'll make it to 10:00 and 11:00 the appointment times...then I am going to crash with no remorse.....lol.

Okay well you may or may not believe this, but I have just gone through every piece of paperwork I own, regarding tax for the last five years, along with all my mail and I defiantly have three pages of itemized accounts for the nine month period missing...I probably should be pissed off, because it mean's someone's been in here and I can say that with 100% certainty, because I don't throw paper work out....at least not that kind...so what it mean's is that for the tax year I'm going to have to go over all receipts and purchases for the year, and tally it all up again.....what I do think is strange is the fact that I received that paperwork from Centerlink last week entitled Income and Asset Services update...which on reading today actually has a 21 day period for return...so again, they're kind of two weeks early in suspending me on that ...but hey I guess it makes them feel good...
Other than that..well I am pretty much up to date with everything else...so can't complain...
Now a coffee...

Well just started my make up routine....luminous lime green..Churchies really hate make up, so the more slutty you can make it, the less likely they are to like you, which is fine by me....and by the time I get to the second meeting...I should have the green eye/red eye look for that more Hulkie monster feeling....the Roman's love that...you know they think you're the Devil woman....me well I feel like a Chameleon....wonder how many time's I'll change my colors today....
