Well I was obviously a little over enthusiastic about the time frame to get through the manual's but hey compositing is done (again), so I probably shouldn't be too hard on myself, and now only the effect's package to get through...so it's not all bad...

I guess people think I've been kind of grumpy lately, I don't believe I am by nature, but there's just a few too many thing's that I don't feel happy about, and I call it seeing through what's going on in the world these day's, not that it hasn't been going on for a long time, but it just get's more obvious the older you get...but hey enough
grumpiedum for the day.

Other new's well that third software package that I initially bought with the first purchase...yeah..you remember the one I still haven't even touched upon....well it feel's like the time is drawing near to crack that one...interestingly enough I still get newsletter updates for it, I think it's going to be a real doozie to work with, however it's finding the time....but it seem's to be a popular choice for game's development, and the latest update came with an interesting tutorial....so I'm kind of hankering...

Which yeah...look's like I'm jumping everywhere..however as it sits..

1. I have a folder with all character's clothes etc, prop's and basically what I think it need's to build it and give it a life set aside. Not to mention that the community of artists just don't stop loading gear on the servers so it's kind of never ending in downloads.

2. Have managed to configure the software so that rendering of animations of high end texture items occur without any freezes...or too many troubles and am actually waiting to book the computer in for a RAM upgrade, which when I get though the paperwork will pull out the number of the store that has a good offer.

3. Despite having a pretty good handle on most operations, haven't really built any more model's besides the few that I made when first learning the software, and I still really want to build the Chameleon, although I did see a model in my searches that appealed to me due to it's abstractness..The Chameleon is kind of abstract in form, due to it's purpose in space, which still hasn't been made available to the public, and won't be until the scripts finished. ( again to be completed).

4. Have the Digital Compositing pretty much in check of course it's not all high tech Star War's/Aliens gear, but it is kind of interesting.

5. Sound software has been picked , more on that later.

6. Software for titles is organized and a variety of different software packages that could be used on stand bye for life's difficult situations.

7. Two game platform software's on standby (for if I really want to give myself a total nut ball sandwich for lunch).

And that is all.

So after this FX software manual is complete, another three day's (not including the weekend, because I should give mum and dad a hand around the house), its back to the script and applying for jobs...that is the official order which despite the rigidness of it, is the way its going to stay, because at the end of the day, you can't have a production without a completed script...right ??

Of course that all sounds well and good, and I may have left out a number of steps but those I believe can be done on the fly..so to speak....so again my head hurts...
And now... bed.

You know I guess I'm still looking forward to saying .."Right..we're going into production "...but I can't even say that yet.
