So any way yesterday went to put my social security form in, and it's not as though I didn't know it was coming, but as I passed the form over the desk I was informed that it couldn't be processed until I dialed the number now written on top of the form. Basically as I've refused to sign the work for the dole agreement, it's just about time that they start imposing the "Breach" for failure as they call it. So I call the number and am informed that I need to attend another meeting with Wesley Uniting Church to sign an agreement, which is fine, they can book me in for an appointment, but I need the paperwork for the appointment. I'm in formed I need to attend a meeting, on what I thought was Monday but turns out to be Tuesday, (due to the long weekend), its supposed to be a fast track appointment....what it is in fact is a fast track appointment to breach me a second time. Funny thing is I've also received some paperwork which I opened on Friday, which is to sign another activity agreement with the Job Network as opposed to the Wesley Church group, which I have already signed. So I have no idea as to why I'm going to attend an interview to sign a document I've already signed, other than perhaps for them to breach me again so that the second breach comes up, and as it unfolds, probably the third breach when they can remove my payment will occur between these two newly booked appointments.
Anyway it got kind of heated, because I am sick of hearing the same regurgitated Government propaganda of what I own them. I owe them jack shit man simple as that.
However I agree to the appointment booking but ask that it be done on the same day as the Monday 9th appointment so that I can attend both in a convenient time frame.
They refuse to do this.
So anyway I say fine hang up the phone and return to the counter to once again hand my form in so that I can receive payment, as it is the person I was just on the phone to has locked the system so that my form can't be processed I get told to wait 10 minutes.
Which I do. Then I'm called to another counter and the form can be processed and I am lead to a desk to receive paperwork for the booked appointment, I'm told that it will also be in the mail. I look at the form, and it's a different form, it's not an appointment form but something resembling a notice of bullshit really. However I'm sure that they feel it's quite official. I give a dogs bullocks. But anyway, I look at the appointment time and I tell them it's not convenient... and I ask to have it rescheduled. I'm given a phone number and told to use the blue phone up the front. I dial the number and it gives a message, which I respond to but doesn't connect me to the Wesley Church Group. So I take it back and inform them of this, and in the process get treated as though I'm an idiot and get told the instructions are on the phone...but to dial 0. I go back there's no instructions on the phone, which I pointed out, because if there had been I would have followed them. So again I can't get through to the Wesley Church Group to change the meeting. I inform them of such and they let me use an office phone. I get through and inform them that I can't attend the meeting on that day. They inform me that the appointment needs to changed from the office I'm sitting in...so as you can see...bit of a fuck around really.
So I ask them if they could change the date to a suitable time, they refuse, I pull out the camera to ask them to answer the question again, and as usual in that office, all shit breaks loose when you pull out a camera. Needless to say, the appointment time is changed as I'm chased half way down the office with requests to turn it off and statements that I'm not allowed to film . ( hey and I can tell you another reason why I'm not allowed to film besides the so called privacy act).
So the shit you have to go through to get a public servant to change an appointment in this place is pretty disgusting.
However to continue....why I think the Wesley Church Group can fuck a dogs ass backwards....is this. When I attended the meeting last week, or whenever it was, I was informed of the usual crap they tell you at these meetings, re : your responsibilities to them for being in receipt of social security, now I don't want to seem arrogant on this matter, but yes I recognize there are some undoubtedly, and as I've stated for the amount of money I get, and the labor that it takes to for fill those requirements, my work is suitably done in time spent sourcing positions and writing cover letters. In fact for the 200 dollars I get per week, at $11.00 (under the award rate for letter preparation), I really should only be spending 10 hours a week working for the Dole.
You know at the end of the day, my dad put it right..."You Get What You Pay For". Now of course if the Government would like to up my social security so more effort is put into finding work in the community....you know legitimate work, that the rest of the nation do....with holidays, sick pay, superannuation etc..well who know's I might even become a conformist...but you know at the moment, I prefer to conform to common sense, which vomits up the bullshit that I'm getting fed by this government daily.
So other than that, those questions I asked at the meeting with the Wesley Uniting Church....that considers that it can allocate me to work projects that undermine the education that was paid for...and hey I don't give a rat's ass if the way the things work in the real world, and what you get taught at Uni are different, I'm sticking to my guns on this...so the questions I asked..."Are you aware of the funding or turn over that these organizations make"..he responded "No". "At the end of this six month contract, how many workers have been made employee's"...he replied "none". So basically dude, that is where you totally fuck yourself up the ass with me, and again I see through the bullshit of this crap your feeding me, this is clearly exploitative labor, and provides no security or on going contribution to the employee's...so while you've got no interest in supporting my efforts on a long term on even short term contract with "Employee entailments, you've got a rat's ass of getting any work from me"...end of story..end of report.

Other than that, well I've decided to stay in tonight and cook up a bit of a feast.
Which I'm looking forward to...as far as work goes with Lipcrack and the long weekend, well just catching up on a few odd bits and pieces.

I've decided to keep a record of each name I call my cat's because it seem's to change each week and sometime's daily depending on how I respond to them each time they annoy me for food or attention..over the last two weeks..

Well it's been a bit of a strange one, the day that is...decided to take it easy for a change and watch a movie half way through the day instead of in the evening, and believe it or not, had this strange sense of tiredness come over me half way though the thing, so snoozed for a few hour's I guess, or at least dozed, and as you know woke up and cooked myself a meal...now well I'm just going to watch the last half of the movie after cleaning out my e-mail box of all removals...you know that is a bit of a task and I do get them, but hey such is life....anyway...my stars tell me I should be jumping on some opportunities...so tomorrow now that a few things are out of the way...I shall get jumpy lol...so any opportunities that wish to present themselves...are welcome to make themselves know to me...mind you I've never thought of myself as an opportunist...but hey...I am know to swing from radical mind set to radical mind set so who know's what tomorrow may bring huh ??
