Well....I should probably go to bed...I have yawned so that is an indication of a wind down to the day...which has again been spent assessing suitable software to carry the Lipcrack Crew forward....and I have to say, I have found two of the spiffiest accounting packages I've seen in a long time, along with some of the, what could only be described as interesting editing software I've seen in a while...and that is giving away no in house secrets at the moment. But what it does feel like I'm doing is sorting out purchases for the finance and development department, (Don't forget we are running a tight ship here), when I can get around to spending some cash. Which at the moment is kind of tight, and not quite going around how I'd like. But hey, I do have an appointment with Centerlink this week, so maybe I'll have some incoming money soon. Yes it's that time when expenses outweigh incoming, but I'm sure there will be a way to make ends meet. It just means having to prioritize, and be sensible, but todays web shopping experience has thrown that all out. Its not as bad as it sounds...however like most people that get involved in this type of work, you soon discover, making a movie, is not a cheep adventure.....and that's what I'm planning to do....today I found not one, but five...yes greedie little mitts....five software packages that all bundle nicely together to provide the opportunity of doing something that I would never have thought possible...well it probably isn't that possible, and probably the advertising makes it look a lot easier than its going to be....but I am gearing up to make something that I've only ever see the experts do...a creation of cinematography....thing is I'm in a rut....I got a lot of great footage from the Lipcrack Tour.....and I could perhaps produce something with that in a stand alone fashion, or I can contemplate creating something so totally trippy, Jimmy Hendrix would feel straight watching it....which kind of appeals to me more... So....I don't know...like I said....I'm in a rut deciding...(I'll have to work that out when I start the first edit).....but I guess to start things moving now that I've actually worked out what I need to make it happen, (and that was no easy task, working out which programs are compatible with others, and what you can import from one into another is like working with music software...sometimes a total nightmare, but at least I'm prepared for it this time) and well, what I actually have to start making it happen, lets face it, resources are limited....which reminds me Iceexplosive.....how's things going on board the ship......isn't it time you and the Central Mainframe had a little talk ...
Iceexplosive addresses the mainframe.....
