Well this has been a shake up and wake up week....believe it or not, documents have been resent to the IRS re: tax file number, tax was sent today, called QANTAS in Hong Kong and tracked down the missing lighters, which are to be sent through cargo, and checked out a couple of Broad Band Suppliers, no major decision on that just yet as one or two more to check out. Selling off a part of the company...not sure if it's necessary...what I do know however, that there will be talks with the Taxation Department again next week, you know I'm sure there's a couple of areas that amount to double taxing...so I want to clear that up...and well as far as things go it's time to reshuffle some resources to one wing...maybe wind it up....and cut some costs in other departments....that is this years objective for Lipcrack......keep all costs and purchases to an absolute minimum.....isn't that so stingy.....but to keep the cost of goods down it's an absolute necessity....which I think customers would prefer good prices to highly inflated costs due to high overheads which believe it or not, running the business from home, you still have.
So that's the wind up on taxes. Have been looking at a couple of legal issues regarding the mailing system, there seem's to be some ambiguity in the law and we need to get that sorted out before we move to Broadband.
Finally purchased a card for converting the camcorder films over to the computer and that's about 7-10 day's before that shows up.
Broke up with someone who I've admired for awhile, but you know he hasn't got the time for me because he's attached like an umbilical cord to everything else in his life which considering how I thought I might feel I'm rather relieved...he probably is too...so lets say its an amicable split, although I doubt we'll ever talk to each other again.
And that's it...waiting to see how things turn out in the Ice Chamber....chowing down on some chippies and getting ready to call it a night with a good horror movie....I really need to wind down tonight...Webcam T.V. , that will most likely be late afternoon tomorrow as I'm going through one of my early morning periods...
