Well I am total panic stations...anything that could go wrong today...did...and anything that can wrong...still is...so not a great day...it started with everything going missing including about half the tracks I recorded last night as first take's....the Mp3 player, say's they're there but I get up to track 27 and it goes back to track 1 instead of onto the next 42 that it has listed...so somewhat annoyed...and I've tried nearly everything, but I will try a call to the manufacturer tomorrow....oh yeah and my favorite mirror went missing..but that turned up...
Good new's well ...believe it or not...I have tracked down a retail store in Los Angeles that has close to what I'm looking for in a camera...so I'm going to go...with the hope...that they'll still have one when I get there....as it works out...it's not the latest model, although they do say they have them...but it is the same model they're offering at duty free and it's about $300 Au dollars cheaper...so hopefully I'm watching the wallet as well, and if anyone can talk me out of buying one...for any good reason...well I'll consider it...but other than that I'm pretty happy...although Radio Shack won't be...
no hint's where I'm getting it...but believe it or not...that is a huge mental anguish of my mind...so now....I don't even want to think about that till I set down...
Oh yeah...followed up with the Web Hosting Company Re: EIN which is actually the Employer Identification Number, and they inform me, sorry this is something to sort out with the accountant...so I guess at this stage, when I'm at the legal appointment..Did I mention the lawyers a female...not telling you who though...I might ask if she could recommend someone...Do I think I'm being scammed by the hosting company, well sort of, but I also recognize that starting up a new business division isn't going to be a piece of cake either, because everyone wants their cut....however I believe theses guy's are trying to keep us out of business as long as they can, even though they've already taken money...because once again...if a customer signs up with us, that's money they don't get...so business being business...you figure it out....
Also they've put quite a lot of nice loop holes in the contract...e.g. You waver the right to trial by jury...which I doubt that's even legal...but who knows ..if we go in with a group of sharks after blood...who know's how we might come out....lol...
Mail outs are a little on hold as we prepare for the Lipcrack Cyber Kids On The Loose..Shoot Out Tour....and well final preparation of documents required while overseas is coming together quite okay...
New Desktop...well it totally blows everything out of the water that I've seen so far..
I'll compare it to playing Doom to access desk top applications...it totally blows...
I feel sorry for whoever sits next to me on the plane away...they are going to meet the Cyber Death front row style...lol...
Anyway I better go...too many count down things to get out the way...

Okay....well finally we see some movement...and I'm referring to a letter received today by the IRS. Now as far as I can remember, and I'll have to go back over my transcripts, but the Internet Service Company pointed out a number of forms that I'd need to fill out, which I questioned if these were in fact the right forms. They also indicated some form of exemption clause for taxation purposes...which when I addressed my letter to the IRS asked for them to confirm this information or provide the right form. As it is the letter is brief and in our instances it is still debatable as to if we would be exempt, but that's not a problem as the only thing that occurs if we don't get the exemption is the nominal tax rate of 28% which is held from earnings...which I personally am also fine with, however I'd be finer with it, if I was provided the correct information in the first place, rather than getting it some six months down the track..Now that does not mean necessarily that all is well and ready to go ahead, as these forms need to be returned and again, while in L. A. I believe it will be best to talk with a Tax Consultant to confirm that this is something that can go ahead with the terminology that is provided in all the documents...But I do have a copy of all information that was sent and letters of request, so well see where they have been helpful and where they haven't.
To put it straight...
1. I don't think we can apply for an exemption, but that needs to be confirmed.
2. We need to clarify that we are entitled to Tax File Number as Non-Residents providing services.
3. If we are not entitled to, then why did the business in concern knowingly advertise for resellers and accept monies when in fact their own business department should have clarified all these details prior to soliciting for income.
(You know otherwise, well we could just slash the price of our advertising
and just accept cash from our clients...and you know Mr Tax man..
that's actually going to cost you a lot more than if you play by the rules..
but you have a problem with that don't you ??, well we'll see.)
Anyway this is probably looking at another three months till the go ahead can commence, if at all, guess we'll just have to sit tight for the moment.
Good news however, the business cards I had made up were prepared for this type of melodrama, so at the moment, they advertise Lipcrack.com with no reference to services so that at least wasn't a waste of money and the band still get's promoted in the meantime.
Good new's well other than that today was a Great Day....I really did spend a shitload of cash....and hurray, I have a nice new makeup collection, a new mic, and new hair products to go, hair products are so expensive over here, I'm talking $18 a bottle, which when you consider what you used to pay for hair care and what you now have to pay for something of reasonable quality well, really that's one hours work on a causal wage, which seem's way too high....but Schwarzkopf are running a special so in fact if I had three members in the band, we'd all be covered....lol..
But I am very happy...thanks Price Attack for coming in with the goods so soon to going away....plus , well, a reference number for contacts with the IRS....wahhooo.
Bad New's well I usually use my credit card online, and when I put it in the automatic teller today to test for emergencies oversea's it's not allowing me to withdraw from the bank, and interestingly I took it into the bank first to test it, and they had no idea as to whether it would work, and nor did they tell me I could take cash out by providing them with some I. D., but when I called Coles/Myer they let me know, so I was pretty pissed off about how helpful the bank was, and well I should be getting a new pin soon, although if there's anything really required for emergencies while overseas well I can just sign for it...so that's not so bad....I'd hate to get to Hong Kong and not have any cash left....lol...
Anyway that's my news...
Only need to buy my DV-tapes and alcohol from Duty free, plus some discs for handing out while away...and that's it...Up...up and away.....to some nightmare of a life that I'm in the process of creating...
Other than that...you know I have this strange feeling that I'm going to meet someone special overseas....and today...well it's a stay home and work day....and now...well time to practice a couple of songs....
