Okay so the answer to last week's question is as follows....award yourself 250 grams of Crack for each correct answer..
a) this is true, in fact after moving to the new service, I am now receiving my daily financial overview of the markets that I was investing in....which I signed up for..which while on this service I never received....and no I'm not blaming anyone, or saying I would have done any better in my investment decisions if I'd had access to this data, but a point I'm making is that I could have ...in fact there were a number of lists that I signed up to that sent out daily/weekly news letters and I never got any of them...
b) Because they removed one of our completed back up files from their server.
This is true although I can't prove it, because the file no longer exists. But when I connected to this service and tested all the facilities it offered, after putting all files on the server I created a backup, which is why I wanted to access the FTP so I could download it because it contained a copy of all files that I had initial uploaded prior to any html changes. I noticed in the error log's that our submission page kept showing up with errors and I know that I updated the file in the testing stage, which is probably in the first back up file...at least however if I'd been able to access this file, I'd be able to check.
However its now gone...because this is a shonky hosting service company. Whose name I'm not going to list for reasons outlined below. Refer to f).
c) Because we couldn't gain access to our web pages via FTP and were told we could.
I think if you can read between all the lines in the past posts, you would agree, that the transcripts from the smartftp show undeniably that when using the password that actually allowed access to the service, although we could gain access to the server, we could not download our html files...e.g.. Angryex.htm
d) Because they lied to us about the amount of time they were on downtime
Again I can't prove this because when I rebooted the computer I wiped the last of my in box emails, however I use an Internet service, that monitors the uptime of my site. That's what actually alerted me that the service was down. However they probably have it on record somewhere.
e) Because they made it difficult for us to transfer over our site to the new hosting service.
I think that's pretty obvious. Rather than downloading the site, I could have just forwarded the whole site via the remote host FTP function and forwarded it to the new service.
f) Because they are Christians. I don't usually use a religion as a reason to be upset at any one or many group of individuals , but in this case, and because of the level of deception, you do actual score some Crack for getting this right.
Why I'm not listing the sites name...because I'm not a believer in the concept that any publicity is good publicity. The company remains unnamed because I'm not using my site as a means of promotion for a company that fails the Lipcrack Rules Of Success Policy.
g) Because we now hate them so much we don't want to put our Halloween files on their service. This is also true...however I do now have a rather nice Halloween collection for next year saved to disc, and I'm sure we'll have something new for you soon.
Other than that well you would have also scored 250 gm's for

i ) Because I haven't had an opportunity to get any new takes down on the electric guitar...
j) because I now have to read a manual on operating My SQL databases
As you can see, it was a little tricker than I first made out..

So there you have it another Lipcrack week ending and new beginning..
As far as the site goes...
1. Will probably need to find a new WebCam software so the station may be down for a while. Its not that it's not running, its just that it stops the computer shut down process , and I end up having to turn it off at the switch, which is a hassle because it goes through an auto check each time I start up, and anyone know's , turning your computer off at the electric switch is a big no no...and you should always let it shut down correctly. Might end up using a Microsoft product e.g. NetMeeting
2. Resolving some small difficulties with the new user registration page on the auction site.
3. Hmm...probably something else...but it can wait..
As far as my sex life which is un doubtable in need of more stimulating experiences.....MORE SWEET KISSES.
