9:50p - Weekly Overdose
So after last week, its been decided that our business news is about as exciting as a blue chip in a bucket of fries, and sadly there's no prawns on the platter, but we have recognized were swimming with sharks, so it's probably a good time to get out of the water, and just when things were starting to heat up...
That being said...it's time to work out how much crack you are actually on..and this again was a tricky question...you needed to consider exactly how much I really wanted to die in a horror flick, and of course how I would prefer it...so that's actually two really big clues......so if in fact you want to change your answer before we continue...think about it...Then...read below....I've put the reasons...so anyone who feel's peeved off...well at least you know why...
So...I figure that if you can work your way through that...your answers might read something like this..
J) The Aliens....I figure if I'm up against these guy's....well more than likely I'll go into shock upon first confrontation ...which makes death pretty much painless and instantaneous...so it's a good option for opting out of major pain overdose.
C) The Predator...I actually wouldn't mind coming face to face with this guy because I know I'd get away at least once, and in the process get to see some pretty over the top space creature hi tech adaptation functions...and who know's I might even get away...Arnie did..so it might not be so bad...
L) Dracula..Yes this may surprise some but I find the idea of dying by the bite of Dracula strangely erotic...plus I get to live forever...so yeah...comes in high on the enjoyable death list.
Okay so the next one was kind of tough, because there's two that come in really close to each other but I ended up going with
A) Freddie first because he explores subconscious fears with a little more depth than
B) Hannibal who is more your sadistic killer, well with his leading ladies at least.
and besides with Freddie...you get to let out some really powerful girly screams...
So following that I went with
H) Chuckie...mainly because ...well his a plastic doll...and we all know that plastic doll's really can't kill anyone...so
G) Pumpkin Head...this might surprise a couple of people because it is one of my favorite classic horror movie characters...but I figure unless I was apart of something really "Artsy", well black and white film's have had their day.
K) American Werewolves...I like werewolves, but we all know once you're bitten, you pretty much are doomed to a life on four legs every full moon, and for me repetition gets kind of boring...so....
D) The Grim Reaper...yes ...this wasn't such a trick question, because anyone who know's the Grim Reaper films I know...well you never actually see him kill anyone..he just walks around carrying a huge Sickle...saying..." I Am Death"..so the likelihood of death is pretty low...
F) Jason ...people are probably going to give me the big boo for this one...but I kind of think Jason movies have little plot and character development...so way low...although higher than
i) Godzilla ...and no it's not that I don't like Godzilla, he just tends to fall in love with the woman in the movies...so the likelihood again of death...is pretty low..
and last well
E) Blood Sucking Freaks...why ??well these guy's are a well know Adelaide band, so unless its killer chords that take my life I guess I'm safe for another week...
So...count your grams...and let's get high..
Now you are probably wondering about the rest of the band, ..well I'm sure they'll turn up sooner or later...or maybe I will.....so for the time being...here's a past history question...
As a child what was my favorite musical instrument to play with
a) A recorder that mum and dad bought me b) A little toy piano c) A real piano d) A Xylophone e) My dad's guitars
That's it...once a few more things have been sorted out this week, there should be more news...so until them Pick A Boogie (c).....
