To my own surprise I actually went running yesterday afternoon. As soon as I stepped foot out the door this beautiful summer shower came down. The sun was still shining and when I looked up I realized I was running towards the arc of a rainbow. Thats the second one I've seen this week.
I wound up over Chris and Dans house and Timmy was there. We decided to grab dinner at Noodles and Co and watch Get Smart. I went home to freshen up and met back up with Dan Tim and Josh. Towards the last 5 minutes of the movie the electricity went out in the entire theatre. Everyone started cracking up bc nobody knew what to do. It turns out there was a huge storm outside that knocked out the electricity. Fortunatley they were able to start it back up.
I was exhausted throughout the entire movie. I almost fell asleep but Dan kept nudging for me to stay awake. As soon as we got back to his house I crashed. I don't know why I've been so tired lately. Even when I woke up at 10 I was cranky by 12 because I was so tired.
I got a lot completed today: returned the steam cleaner, changed Janets water bowl, cleaned out the inside of my car, cleaned up the entire kitchen, cleaned up the backyard, watered all the flowers and the vegetable garden, attempted to put away some things in my bathroom, and did 2 loads of laundry.
I also went to lunch with John Crosby today. It was refreshing to see him. He's one of those people that has such a personable personality that no situation with him could be awkward. I see Smetona while we were there at Qdoba and I told him to call me to hang out tonight. There are so many people I want to see before I go away again.
I'm supposed to go up to Dans for crabs tonight. To be honest I'm sick of crabs. I had them my first night back and I had them 2 nights ago at Lias crab feast. This will be my 3rd time eating crabs in a 5 day period. I just need a break from them. But I could tell Dan wanted me to come up and I'd like to see Steve and Emily so I said why not. I think afterwards I'm going to hang up at my parents house for a little bit.
I've been keeping myself occupied for the past two hours waiting for the floor guy to come out. "I'll be there in about an hour, latest an hour and a half" - this was two hours ago. I truly hate American Home Shield with every bone in my body. The worst, the worrrsttt insurance company ever. It would be fucking great if ONE person they hired could actually come out on time. If he's not here in half an hour I am going to be livid because I know he's going to make me late for dinner.
Anyway - I am going to go clean out Mangos cage and try and finish up the bathroom. Tomorrow I have to get an oil change, go to the MVA, and write up my lesson plan. FUN nottt.
