The Used :: Sometimes I Just Go For It |

Saturday – We arrive. When me and my mom went to pick up Laura her sewers on her road were all completely overflowing and they were geysering out of the sewers and it was crazy. We somehow made it to my dads house and on our way we saw a fat guy in a bathing suite (may I add it was pouring rain) and he was raking his driveway. We got there and backed up into the driveway and I ran in and placed the luggage safely in the garage to be transferred into Beverly’s car. Laura was out in the rain throwing the bags at me so her back got super wet. I finished packing my clothes and then eventually we left after chillen with the kitten. We drove a buncha hours and we got to LBI weee! When we got there we couldn’t have spent more than 5 minutes in the house and then we went to the beach and it felt sooo nice. We walked a little ways and then Laura decided she wanted to teach us how to skim board! So we went to the house and got the board and then went and I was kicken ass! No not really, but Laura was and Julie wasn’t and I was just kind of all the over the place. When I was done humiliating myself and realized how starving I was we went back to the house and got changed again then eventually went to Chris and Kenny’s after we watched some of Ace Ventura and Will and Grace. Got there, so them all and then played poker and ate Pizza. Watched them play poker, made fun of my dad continuously about Landmark and Avon, (I bet if we put my dad in a house in the middle of nowhere he would still talk to himself, “being a block of wood must be tough, but we can make things better with Landmark reform! And being a tree when you’re stuck in the ground, and you really wanna jump in that lake, and it’s right there, but you cant get to it! But don’t worry, since you can’t go to Landmark, we’ll bring Landmark to you! So we can bring you there and we can ‘talk’ –crazymansmileandfistonchinlook- And…-talking to a paper plate- you look like you’ve got some wrinkles, we have Avon products that can change that. [I think the best part about it was that we were talking at perfectly normal, if not louder voices, and they were still too engaged in conversation to notice that we were mocking them repeatedly].) then we left, walked around in a huge octagon and then bought things at Oh Fudge! Went back to Chris and Kenny’s for a while to steal their Snapple and then left. Hung around the house and talked a bunch. Beverly and my dad got home. Beverly came in and offered us all drugs, but no alcohol, of course not. She helped us push the two beds together and put sheets on and all that. She was soo drunk haha it was funny though, she was trying to turn on the air conditioner and she was like “yeah three girls in a ed generate alotta heat, look you’ve got 4 inches here” it was pretty odd. Then she was trying to push the bed against he wall and she was just like “now go like this, UH!” and completely humped it. So we finished it and all and she was like “this big is bed enough to let you all sleep in it without being called lesbians.” Yeah so there were numerous strange occurrences and (bo chi cha cha cha) then The Flemings came and…now they’re here, Chelsea’s Casey’s girlfriend, and that’s kind of weird because he had a different one a month ago –shrug- she has my sweatshirt. Grr. Hung out with Kyle most the night then went to sleep eventually.

Sunday – We got up pretty early and went to the Deli and found Kelly Casey Chelsea and Kyle there. Ate and then left, went into the ocean for a while, then we went back to the house, sat on the roof for a long time, went onto the real roof which was scorching hot and then we eventually were planning on going back to the ocean but instead we went to the Deli again with everyone. Me and Julie played checkers with napkins, and then safety pins and cookies. I won both times, probably just by luck. Left and we went to Ship Bottom in search of the carnival. We never found it but we went to Hands and some other place, I got a ring and some food I guess. Went back home and Casey Kelly and Chelsea came back a little while later. They said there was food at Chris and Kenny’s so we went there with them, ate and then we all went mini golfing. We intended on going to Hartland but we got there and it was super crowded so we went to the Sandtrap which wasalso crowded so then, we went to Stewarts cause it was right there. Kelly was being a dick by changing is order every three second and Casey got mad. Laura was mushing a bunch of sugar salt pepper and ketchup together and it was pretty gross haha, Julie drew on her placemat. I told Darren he was white, and then Chelsea mocked him and I felt bad, I meant like, pale, and sick, cause Laura said something about that before, o well. I realized how weird Chelsea is and that she’s defiantly only 15, or at least she really acts like it and it was just weird because Casey is 17 and…idk, it’s just weird to me. I ate, and basically everyone else didn’t, they drank some, and we were sorta loud so this guy came over to our table holding his kid and he’s like “Man we really love that you guys are here, you’re no being loud or using bad language or anything” and we were like maan he’s mad, cause he was defiantly being sarcastic. We eventually left and found Chris and Kevin at Hartland. Darren wanted to play too so we played with him. Darren won of course but I won a free game and Darren won popcorn. Laura and Julie didn’t win anything, ha. Everyone had left when we finished so we went back and on the way we talked about his poker club thing that he’s going to do at college and it sounds pretty cool. The best of luck to him. We got home and Chris said they were at our house so we went to scope it out and found everyone watching Braveheart. On the way over I was talking to Darren about how they only play video games and he told me that he didn’t really play by himself, only with Chris cause he’s crazy about video games. Me Julie and Laura went up on the roof for a little while but then went back down, went to the beach and talked, then came back and watched the movie for a bit Laura fell asleep on the table and drooled on herself and I think she even made it possible to fall asleep sitting up on a counter. Went to sleep. The mattress was pretty bitchy all night, how the two kept falling apart and what not. Slept eventually, Julie was still watching the movie through our open door, it worked out. I really didn’t like that movie. –shrug-
Monday – I woke up first and got a doughnut and then Julie and Laura woke up. It was pretty early and we were just lying around. I got up and did a couple of chapter in To Kill a Mockingbird and watched Kelly make cinnamon rolls. He used a frying pan in the oven, Dumbass. So we ate them and then hung out and went to the beach. Our beach was bad so went one beach over and Chris, Darren, and Kevin were there so it was cool. I swam out really far with them but they went back and I kept going. Darren swam out and lost all of his energy cause he’s not the best swimmer on the block. I went back in eventually and we were riding waves in and bein crazy. After a while Chris Darren and Kevin left and then later we did, got dressed and went to Stewarts for lunch. Saw Casey and Chelsea there. Ate, went back home. Hung around for a while and then we went to the von Halle’s and then back here to watch Secret Window. It finished so we walked to the Custard Hut, walked back and I got a stick and I was walking blind for the majority of the time and I got pretty good at it. We hung out for a couple minutes and everyone wanted the poker chips. Darren and I went and got them. But, when we got back, they were watching “The Pest”. Darren is Kenny’s hero. Kenny wants him. Watched it, Laura fell asleep and then…it was over, and…we ate a lot, slept.
Tuesday – Really shitty weather so we stayed home for a while and then we went to Fantasy Island. Casey forgot Kevin, so we just left him home. Went into Bay Village and to the music store, ate Pizza, went to the Arcade and kicked Laura’s ass at some driving game and then did pod racing and some other Star Wars game. Laura won some betroved chicks and we played Ultimate Vollyball with it outside. Some random kid walked by who had previously killed Kelly at DDR and he played with us until his brother came wearing a No Use for a Name shirt and then he left. The chicks got very abused and thrown in puddles and things like that. We went back into the arcade and everyone was gone so we were like what? And then we went and searched for them. Left something at the car so that they would know that we were there. In the meantime they were also searching for us and finally we were reunited in front of the ice cream place where Chelsea and I bought ice cream. Then went back. On the way home Casey was like “if anyone sees a gas station scream” so no more than 2 seconds later, Darren screamed at the top of his lungs and it was probably the most hilarious thing I’ve witnessed in a good 2 weeks. Hung around, went to Chris and Kenny’s eventually and ate, played cards till 9:30 when we went and saw the Exorcist. Me Laura Darren and Kenny were stuck in the back and we were completely squished. Got there and since Darren was the oldest he bought us all tickets and then we went in just in time. It kinda dragged at the beginning but then it got better. And then there was this one part where the guy had carved the Nazi symbol in to his flesh and then he slit his throat right on camera and it was the most terrifying thing I’ve ever seen in my life. I cried. No, I’m not kidding. The rest of the movie was cool though. When it was over we, went home, and hung out, then me Laura Julie Darren and Kenny were yo-yoing and what not and then we went outside. Kyle came out and Darren randomly sprinted home, Kenny sprinted behind him and he’s crazy fast like Forest Gump no joke. I ran after them with Kyle and then turned in the other direction. Kenny came back and Darren went home. The four of us hung around on the street. Kenny Julie and I raced to this basketball hoop and then we played with their ball and stuff. Went back and found Laura and Kyle and they had put our shoes on the beach so I had to go and get them for everyone. We walked around, all the way to Wida’s then to Kenny’s and got some ice pops, then back to our house. Pausing at someone’s house to swing on their swing. We sat in the kitchen for a while and made this sick looking mixture that we now call salsa and talked. Kyle went to sleep eventually and then Kenny left around 2:45. We went to sleep and I listened to TBS in order to force disturbing images out of my head.
Wednesday – Got up late again and it sucked that we keep doing this. Hung around and then went to videotape everyone around and we asked Chris Darren and Kelly what idem on the lunch menu they would be if they had to chose. Then we asked Kenny Jeff and Kyle what band they would be a groupie for. Some police officer guy yelled at us for sitting in the bike lane. Then when we moved and Kenny and Jeff came back with bikes he yelled at them for standing in it too. He also told us that all the locals on Long Beach Island were assholes. Go figure. Watched Mr. Deeds, then hung around till now. Casey just left to get a kickball, and Darren Julie and Kenny are playing White Jack. Laura’s reading over my shoulder.
Casey came back with the kickball and we all squeezed into the cars and went to Beach Haven for the field. We got there and at first me and Julie were going to be the captains but then they changed their minds and Casey and Darren were instead. Casey picked me and then we played. Kelly just pitched because there was an uneven amount of people. Our team (Casey Laura Jeff Kenny) conquered the others. I saved Darren’s life because there was broken glass near home plate and he was barefoot. He doesn’t know I saved him though. After one game we went home even though me and Julie at least didn’t wanna leave cause we wanted to play another game. Casey was racing Darren while we were driving home and we beat them and stole their spot. Got to Chris and Kenny’s and there was gonna be a party there cause it was Wednesday, and that’s their day to party I guess. We all went there and we played cards and Mario until the food came, I didn’t eat cause I wasn’t hungry and I knew the pizza was gonna be gross so I just watched Mario for a long time. Laura wanted to go outside at some point so we did and we walked back and forth on the beach for a really long time until we couldn’t even take it anymore. We were in the sandbar and stuff and we just talked about a lot of emo things all together and it was nice because I feel like I hadn’t really talked to her much lately. We went back inside and everyone was still there. I went to play Mario Kart in Chris and Darrens room and I thought everyone left so I was yelling at the TV and the controller whenever I went off course. Then Kevin walked in and walked past and then Chris came in and I guess he didn’t expect to see me there because he almost spit out his drink haha. So we had a Mario Kart tournament and I lost, Chris won and Kevin just says he won to make himself feel better. We played for a while and then Kevin went home when he was defeated. Me and Chris played some other Mario game for a long time and talked about a buncha different things which was awesome. Around 1:43 I got up to go home and I went outside, came back in cause I forgot my sweatshirt, then went back out, then came back in because I forgot my shoes and then left, came back because I forgot my socks and it was really funny. Went back to the house and Bruce Almighty was over already. We sat around and talked for a long time and then we all parted and went to sleep. Kyle slept with us on our bed. Before I fell asleep, Laura was like “okay, you’re really close, no headlocks tonight” and it was funny.
Thursday – Woke up and went to breakfast at Capn. Johns with Laura Julie and Kyle. We walked there and then right before we went in we saw my dad but we just walked past him because I didn’t want to talk to him. We ordered and when she brought out our food she apologized to Laura because she so shamefully forgot one of Laura’s pankaces in the kitchen so she had to go back and get it. We talked a lot about the schools in West Orange compared to our schools and it was pretty interesting. We started walking back but we paused in front of sunsations to sit in the chairs. When Laura and Julie left me and Kyle couldn’t get up so we just sat for a while and eventually got up. We faked Laura and Julie by pretending to walk down another road and then I made Kyle get onto this big cart and I pushed him out but they had already turned around and started walking again. We walked most of the way back and then we sprinted down the back road to get ahead of them and it was cool. Talked to Kyle which was nice because he kicks. Went to Chris and Kenny’s and Julie and Laura went to the house to see if her mom was there but I was almost passed out so I just stayed, played super smash and then came home pretty soon. Went to the beach with Laura Julie and Kyle and there was a pretty good sandbar so we went out to there and after a while went back to the house. Took showers and then hung around for a really long time. Chris showed up and they planned on going to Custard Hut so I went with them and Julie finished my poker game for me because I knew I was gonna win anyways. We went in Chris’s car and he took a wrong turn and we were listening to the song of the summer, or the century, or whatever Jeff calls it. I bought a shirt and Darren got 4 hot dogs, they were only 50 cents. Went home and then eventually went on the beach and talked to Julie and Laura. Went for a walk. We stopped at Chris and Kenny’s because we were watching video games through the window. Chris came out and said he was going to mini-golf so I sprinted back to the house to get the free passes but I could feel my stomach acid rising in my esophagus so I stopped running. I was wheezing and coughing and panting when I walked in and saw Kenny and was super surprised. He followed me into the room and told him that we were going mini golfing and then on the way we realized that we missed each other because when we were walking to him house on the road he was walking on the beach so we didn’t meet up with him. But we walked back and talked a ton and then I saw Julie pushed Darren into a bush and I was like whyyyy? And then as I approached I realized that it was Laura wearing Darren’s hat. Started walking to the course and videotaped a bit. Walked with Darren and talked about school or something. Got there and it was crowded so we tried to go to Stewarts but they were closed so Chris was playing that game where he doesn’t talked to us or show any facial expression whatsoever and Darren was telling me about it and how funny it was and Chris didn’t even respond to the fact that we were talking about him or anything. It was funny. Me and Darren ran across to the internet café and he bought 15 minutes of computer time and looked up a game cheat. He showed me all of his friends ‘cause they had pictures on the internet. He tried to show me things about his college but he couldn’t find the stuff. When time was up he bought a smores thing and Kyle took a buncha money from him to get chocolate milk. Walked outside and couldn’t decide where to go. Walked around to the side and found Laura Julie Kenny and Kyle sitting in the parking lot next to the café. We talked for a sec then left and tried to find Chris and on the way to he ice cream store we were walking down the road and all the sudden we hear a car horn and then *baboomba boomclack* so we look over and we see this cat get hit by a car and then scramble to the sidewalk like you’ve never seen a cat scramble before. One of her legs was really fucked up and she was just running slipping, sliding and scuttling to some sort of shelter. She hid in a bush and gathered a small crowd of sympathetic people staring at her as she tried to regain a normal state of mind free of shock and pain. Me and Darren watched her for a while and then we went and found the rest of them sitting down in a parking lot. We went to Hartland and played a game of hocky in the arcade, then we went out and played a game of golf. We kept getting held up by the people in front of us so we would do the hole a buncha times till we got it right and then we would kick it or do all these weird things with getting them in. Like banking them one and two times before getting it in the hole. At one of the holes there was a platform that you hit the ball on and it rolls down and around to the level under you and I was cool and skipped the rolling and went right off the top of the platform. Darren got it in first though. Went through the rest of the course and then didn’t win anything so we walked home and talked about a buncha stuff. Got to his house, hung out for not to long and watched Chris play videogames. We tried to talk to him but he would just make noises in response to the questions. Darren wanted to get an answer other than yes or no out of him so he asked Kyle’s middle name and he was just like eh. Me and Darren went back to our house and we watched TV or a movie or something but I wasn’t paying attention. Made food for Kyle and then went out to the beach because Laura and Julie were out there. We saw Kenny walk by but he didn’t come over but whatev, he came back soon, with an ice pop cause he loves those things. We hung around and played cards. I talked to Kelly for a little while about all these weird things and about space camp and girls. We were all in this crazy conversation about world affairs and humanity and supernatural life and all this other twisted stuff. It was really interesting actually. We tried to play blackjack until we used all the chips but we just gave up. We were trying to pull an all nighter but Laura slept under the table and for the whole night I couldn’t get over how funny it was that she was sleeping there. We just lazed around for a long time and tried to stay awake. I tried playing lefty guitar and it’s just as easy as righty so it was fun. At some point we went over to Kenny’s to get him an ice pop and Chris woke up to go to the bathroom and we were like whaaat it’s 5 in the morning. We were outside and it was getting so light out, it was really cool. When we went inside I started doing a crossword and then my dad woke up and came down and yelled at us or something and then we all just sat down, got comfortable and feel asleep by like 6:30 or 7, so it kinda sucked. But it happens. Haha, Laura slept under a table.
Friday – Woke up at some point on the couch and got up to go into my room but the beds were taken so I just went in the bigger bed with Kyle –shrug- Kenny was on the floor. Went to sleep for a while longer and then I vaguely remember Laura waking me up and yelling at me so we could go to Bay Village but I couldn’t get up seriously I was so sore and feeling terrible and I just went back to sleep and eventually got woken by Julie and Kenny poked me with a stick and Kyle was jumping on the bed. Got up and went to the Deli and played cards and I bought food and I was just completely out of it because I just woke up and I just felt like super shitty. We went home and played more cards and watched part of Lord of the Rings. Diana came and felt bad cause she thought no one wanted her there anyways but whatev they did they were just engaged in the movie. Played more cards. Went to Kenny’s to play super smash bros. and hung out there a while then came home to update this. Julie came a little while later and was like thanks for coming back and I told her I was gonna but I wasn’t done yet or whatever. Kenny came and he told me how cool I was because I can type fast. Not really. We hung around and waited for everyone to get there and when they did we played BS and watched Mr Deeds again. We didn’t want to watch so we went out onto the beach. Kenny came out and said he was going for a walk and then we came back up and he was sitting on the entrance thing. We sat by him and he didn’t seem too chipper so I really didn’t think he wanted us to be there but then again I thought he might enjoy our presence in case he wanted to talk. So we hung out with him for a while and then the food was ready so we went in and ate. Ken came in to get food and Beverly harassed him so I felt super bad about it. They really should lay off some of the alcohol. We ate and then after me and Julie went outside and walked around for a while, sat down in front of Ocean Pearl just like we did last year. We talked about how I wanna move out of Warwick sorta and I got kinda mad about a buncha things. Have I mentioned my period came like a day before? Well it did so I was super crazy and mood swingy. Went back to the house and everyone was gone but then We saw Kelly and he said everyone went to Custard or something like that. We saw Kenny and then walked with him for a few minutes and we walked him back to his house. Walked back home and hung out. Kelly’s phone rang and he was already asleep so I picked it up and it was Darren so he said they would be back in a little while. I kept losing him so he would go “can you hear me now? Good” They came back and we hung around and played more cards ‘cause that’s what’s up. I was on a roll and I beat Darren and Kenny. It was just me and Julie and I tried to bluff her but it didn’t work cause she didn’t even wanna play anyway. After the game we hung around and then me and Darren tried to make a castle out of the chips. It came out pretty awesome if I may say so myself. He was super tired so afterwards he said he was going home so I asked if I could go back with him and he said yeah so I walked him home and helped him pack and then watched him play Mario for a while. Ken and Julie came home and We told Kenny that we would defiantly be back in the morning ‘cause I planned on staying up the whole night. Waved bye to Darren and then me and Julie walked home. We played cards and then she was super tired so she went to bed and I stayed up. I went outside with Further Seems Forever to keep me up and then I rode Kelly’s bike to Chris and Kenny’s to see if Darren was still up but he wasn’t so I went to the old beach house and then rode to the end of the back road and I got inspired and felt good. Saw an old man in his underwear in a window and then went home and on the way there I saw these three guys coming off the beach with guitars and stuff and it was 4 in the morning so it was nifty. I saw that the door was closed so I knew that my dad or someone had been up. Walked in and wrote a bunch in my notebook, played solitaire and read a little. Went into the room so my dad wouldn’t flip and lied down listening to Ben Fold and then low and behold, I fell asleep at 6:15…15 minutes before I intended to wake Jew up and go to Chris and Kenny’s.
Saturday – Julie woke me up and it was 9:00. I looked at my watched and was like fuuucckkkk. Got up really fast and walked to Chris and Kenny’s and they had already left so I was so mad. Like I don’t think you’ve ever seen me this mad. Well, you probably have but the point is I was pissed. Walked home and just jumped on the bed and laid there for what seems like hours. Neither of us said anything and then eventually my sister came in and knew something was up so she tried to help me and make me feel better. It worked, ‘cause she seems to be extremely good at the whole cheering up thing. Felt better so me and Julie went to the beach for a while and talked about all the people here and how awesome they are, went home, we sat on the roof for a while and she now has a collection of food on top of the roof of the shed thing. We rode to the internet café and checked on some stuff online and then on our way home we stopped at Dom’s and got some food. It was so creepy because the speakers yelled her name to tell us our food was ready, weird. It reminded me of when me, AnnMarie, Kelly, Kenny, and Jeff used to hang out all the time ‘cause we were there and spying on all of Casey’s new girls that he picked up and throwing things at them. Anyway, so we ate there and then came home. I called my mom and talked to her for a while. Then me Jew and Kyle hung around in our room and I fell asleep around 4 because I’m grouchy when I only get 2 hours of sleep and then cry for an hour straight. They woke me up around 6:30 and had a difficult time getting me up. They hit me and jumped on me and then dragged me onto the floor, put the mattress on top of me and jumped on it, then dragged me into the living room in my sleeping bag, then I got up after many moans of protest. When I tried to lie down again they unzipped my sleeping bag and tried o roll me up and then off and then I got completely attacked by hard pillows and sat on by Kyle. Ate pizza and then rode to Surf City and got ice cream and went to a sunglasses store, I wanted a visor and I found one and went to buy it ‘cause it was only 12 dollars. When the girl told me it was 21 I realized that I was looking in a mirror when I saw the price and it was actually 21 so I didn’t get it. On the way home we went to Julie’s old beach house and then we stopped at 711. Kyle got a Slushie and I bought a brownie and Snapple. It was just like last year before the bridge. We went and sat down outside by our bikes and ate. A guy from the counter was bringing out the garbage and he kept looking at us funny. In between one of his runs Julie brought up the fact that he kept staring at us funny. I said “yeah maybe he just wants to yell at us for loitering.” And she was like” well there’s no sign so we can’t get in trouble.” So right then we start looking for a sign and then all the sudden we look right on top of us and there’s a huge no loitering sign. Yes, we sat under it in complete oblivion, and it was pretty funny. We rode home and I called Laura ‘cause my dad left me a note saying she called and that it was important. Called and we talked for sec and she said that she didn’t need to talk to me anymore and that she sorted it our or whatever but I made she was alright before we hung up. Me and Julie sat outside and talked and then we went onto the beach and were gonna talk to all these people but then we saw that they were a lot younger and didn’t. Julie had to pee so we went home and then watched some of the video game and then we went in the room so I could update. They played white jack and I did this, listened to Sublime. I think we plan on sleeping tonight. Cool.
Sunday – Got up and ate with Diana, Mike, and Anna. Went to the beach and actually brought our towels and what not. Went in and Diana and them were in there and it was so crazy because it was all of the Flemings and me and Diana and it hadn’t been all of us in the ocean in a long time. Mike kinda ruined it but oh well. We came in after a while and Anna got me all hyped up about being an exchange student and I’m seriously thinking about it. Maybe England, or Australia. Anyway, came in and sunbathed for a while. Back to the house. Me and Anna made Mozzarella sticks and I forgot to make the sauce but when I realized I made it but we were done with all of them before it was even done. Ate and then after a while they packed up and left. Me Julie and Kyle went to the lighthouse with my dad and Beverly and took a ton of pictures. We walked all the way to the top in the 5 minutes we had before it closed and then after we came out we walked on the jetty for a while. Argued with Kyle the whole time about collages or something. He’s stubborn, and still thinks he’s right. Yeah. Then my dad proved him right *coughnotreallycough* We accidentally walked right past them when we were going back to the car so we went and they weren’t there so Julie remembered there was an ice cream place around the corner so we went there. It was super expensive. My dad showed up and then we left. Got home and went back out to the Haymarket so I could get some cards. We rode there and Kyle’s a friggen bitch to ride with because he constantly tries to run into me and stuff and uggh it’s annoying. I bought my cards because I plan on buying a deck of cards at the beach every year from now on, each one holding significant meaning. Last year I burned my cards because we did a lot of things with fire. This year I bought a deck plus a book to teach me every card game imaginable because I told everyone that when I come back next year I’ll kick ass. We went home and on the way Kyle randomly stopped and sat down. When we got home Candy wanted to know where he was and I felt bad because we didn’t even know. He got home and we all piled into their car but then we realized that there was a flat tire so we drove to the closest gas station and blew up the tire and then went to Bay Village. We lost Casey and Candy right when we got there but then met up with them again. Went to the arcade and I placed a lot of driving games. Me and Julie were talking in sign language to each other most the time. Some kid came up to us and introduced myself and shook my hand. I started talking to him in sign language and that scared him off. We all left and Kelly went to get pizza while me Julie Kyle and Casey went in search of Hamburgers. Didn’t find any so we went and found Kelly. Talked about shooms and then met the parents. Candy brought us home and then Casey left. He hasn’t been home since. We were starving so we were going to go somewhere to eat but there was no place open so we made rolls and then watched Something’s Gotta Give. It was terrible but in the middle of it I came into the room and updated this. I’m tired, I think I might sleep. Only two more days left.
Monday – Got up around 12. Went for breakfast at the Deli and then went to the beach afterwards. We brought our CD players and books and cameras. Went into the water and it wasn’t too cold but it was full of jellyfish when you first went in. Once we walked to the sandbar there were hardly any though. We hung around in there for a long time with Kelly and Kyle. Went back onto the beach for a while and we listened to music and I read to Kill a Mockingbird and then we went back in like a half an hour later. A lot of the jellyfish were completely gone. We stayed in for a long time and Kelly was boogie boarding. After Kelly and Kyle got out we stayed in and these 2 kids were screaming SHARK!! And pretending to drown. So I was like “you know it really isn’t a good idea to scream shark in the middle of the ocean.” And they asked if we were locals and we said no and they were so I said they must hate us ‘cause we’re tourists and they said yeah. So we talked to them for a long time about a buncha things about LBI and they don’t really live there, only in the summer, but since they own a house and they pay taxes they’re considered locals. They were nice though, but they were only 12 and 10. But the one twelve year old had suuuuchhhh nice eyes. He’s gonna be a cutie when he gets older. We went in and so did they after a couple minutes and their family or whatever were right by us and we saw them point at us to their mom or something. So we officially met guys. We went home and showered and went to the Haymarket so I could get cards. Julie got Almond Parfait paint. We were on our way home and Kyle randomly stopped and sat down on the curb and we just rode on because we didn’t know what he was doing. We got home and his mom wanted to know where he was and we didn’t know so I think she went out trying to find him. He came home eventually and then we hung out ‘till Casey got home and said he wanted to go rent movies so we went with him. We drove there and were looking at all the movies until finally we decided on BASEketball and Fight Club. Rented them and went home. We hung out then eventually watched BASEketball and it was really funny. The joke that everyone else liked most was “your mom’s deaf” “no my mom’s dead” “oh so that’s why she didn’t move around so much.” Ha. After that we ate but I really didn’t have any appetite so I didn’t eat really, they made fun of dead animals and argued about how many ribs a cow has and then we finished and turned on Fight Club. Man that was a sick movie. Everyone kept saying that it ended really crazy so the whole time I was trying to figure out what was going to happen and I really wasn’t very far away. I recommend it to anyone who hasn’t seen it yet. It was pretty late when it finished so I think we just talked and went to sleep.
Tuesday – Last day. We woke up and then went to the Deli for a breakfast but we stopped at the beach because we heard that the waves were huge. They were wild ‘cause of the storm last night Went to the Deli and on the way Kyle was pissing me off so I pushed him in front of a car. Seriously. Ate then came home and watched the Two Towers and after a while came and cleaned up the room a bunch and put it back to the way it was when we got here and found all the stuff that we lost, and, other people lost for that matter. Hung out and did this. We went onto the beach with our cameras because I wanted to do my Saves the Day series. We were walking and suddenly Julie got the uncanny urge to swim in the ocean with her clothes. So we dropped off everything that cant get wet on Candy’s blanket and ran in. May I add, it was red flag, the waves were vicious, and we almost died. So we ran in and went really far out and the waves were gigantic. I was wearing shorts so it wasn’t fun so Julie said I could try her pants. So she took them off in the ocean and I took my shorts off and it was so strange feeling. I put her pants on and they fit me which is weird ‘cause I don’t even fit in Laura’s pants. I stayed in them while I got brutally beaten by the current and rip tide. Eventually we switched back and got out and it was the coolest thing ever. Tough and all that be awesome. We went out and Kelly and Kyle were just going in and we warned them, took some pictures and I had my arm around Kelly for a picture and he was like “Man you’re like my big sister” and it puzzled me. Went back to the house and took a shower with Julie. Nah, we just rinsed off, we didn’t take our clothes off sorry. So we cleaned up and then hung around more until Kyle came back when we rode to OH FUDGE and came home and watched BASEketball again. Right after it was over we headed out and I got hugs from Kyle and Kelly. Informed Kelly that he was having a party because he didn’t know. Started driving home and after a while Julie had to pee so I told them to stop and she went and we got pizza that was really gross and I felt like I was gonna puke it up. When we got in the car me and Julie talked for a while in sign language and then we settled down and eventually got home. I dropped her off and then went home, unpacked, and my living room was crazy because my sisters shit was in it and she’s moving out. Caught up on computer time and then around 1 called Laura and woke her up, talked to her for a long time and then went to sleep eventually. Many ideas stirring in my head like uncooked pancakes.
