4:04pm: Blind Mountain
I have never heard of Jane Resh Thomas, but I like her style! This book was fast-paced, action-packed, and even helped me learn a thing or two about hiking in the mountains. 12-year-old Sam Flynn is stuck hiking with his father when he would rather be home, hanging out with his friends or practicing playing his guitar. A simple day trip takes a horrible turn for the worse, though, when he accidentally blinds his father with a tree branch in the eyes. Whether he likes it or not, Sam is now responsible for getting his father and himself safely back down the mountain. If you are into survival stories, give this book a try!

Happy Reading!
