: Four Things My Geeky-Jock-of-a-Best Friend Must Do in Europe
I started reading this book because of the cover art. I just HAD to know what those four things were! I figured this book would be bedtime reading; something light and fun. After the first couple of chapters, though, it became clear that it was anti-bedtime reading! Don't get me wrong... Light and fun are perfect descriptors for this book. I just found Brady's story so funny that I couldn't stop. I read the book straight through, from cover to cover, in less than two hours -- very rare for me. Brady's story is told in epistolary fashion (through letters she writes to her best friend Delia), and mixes typical tween/teen angst with humor. I enjoyed the small bits of foreign language peppered throughout, and the descriptions of tourist destinations felt more fun than educational. If you enjoyed The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, this book is probably for you
Happy Reading!
