I was over at a friends house for a week doing nothing but watching movies play video games and getting drunk. I'm kinda mad that my PS is messed up but it can be fixed I hope I have to send it to San Francisco to get it fixed meh. other then that it was bound to happen sooner or later. I entered in the FF Fanrt contest and they say I am allowed to enter my con pics of me as White Mage Paine. I wonder if I'll win o.O...

Well, I'm headed out to the Renaissance Festival again on Saturday, and I've got my costume ready.

I'll be wearing a black, multi-teared skirt (actually two skirts, one on top of the other), a beautiful red velvet off the shoulder shirt with these wonderful draped burnt-velvet sleeves (this is new, and I love it), a black bustier, red patent leather shoes, and a black cloak, and do you know what the best thing is about this outfit? I put it together completely from stuff already in my closet. That's right, my normal day to day clothing.

One of the skirts was given to me by my mother and is actually older than I am, the other I got at Nordstrom Rack a while ago. The bustier I also got there. The cloak came from Hects, which I got with a return slip a family friend gave me for helping her fix her computer. She got it when she returned a Christmas present someone gave her, but she doesn't really like the clothing at Hects. The reason the cloak was so cheap was because I got it in the spring, so they were selling off all their winter things pretty cheap.

The red velvet shirt also came from Nordstrom Rack, which is nice that they had it there, because the original price tag at Nordstrom ($138) is a bit beyond what I'd be willing to pay for a shirt.

And that concludes my clothing rant. Be thankful it's over and that you'll probably never see me post anything about clothing here again.

Oh yeah, I finished another picture. This one is the best so far, but my scanner isn't working now. :-( I'll post it when I get the blasted thing working again.

I don't know what happened. Sometime in the last few months, it was as if something inside me just snapped and suddenly I could draw. I've always practiced before, and I've been drawing for years, really since I was old enough to pick up a pencil, but recently the stuff I've been working on has actually started to be good. I've improved more in the past three or so months than I have in the preceding three years.

I just started on a sketch tonight, and though I've only been working on it for a short time, it's already immensely better than anything I could even have dreamed of drawing a year ago, or even six months ago. It all just comes so easily now.

It's not that I'm not grateful or anything, but what the fuck?!?!

Today I'm going to rant about public transportation, because it sucks and it made me miss class. I hate missing class.

So, I start my walk down to the bus station this morning, which usualy takes me about a half-hour. Part way there I run into a bunch of guys with a wood chipper, cleaning up strom debris. This was all well and good, except they were obscuring the path. So, I walked back around on one of the other paths, but by the time I got to the bus stop, the bus had gone. So I wait for the next one and... it doesn't show up. The one after that shows up, but it's late, and byt the time it gets to the transit center, the bus I transfer to had left. Grrrr. When the next one arrived (it was late of course), my first class was already nearly over, by the time I got to campuse, it was over, and so was half of my second class.

And that was just my morning trip.

The way back, fortunetly, only involved one late bus, which I can deal with. However, there was this big freaking gross dude that sat down next to me at MC, and took way too freaking long to get off. What pissed me off about him was that he kept leaning towards me, so that his leg or his foot were partially in contact with mine, so I kept trying to move away, which didn't work, as he kept getting closer. So I kicked him in the foot a few times, but he didn't seem to get the hint. By the time he got to his stop, he was partially on my seat.

Let me point out that I hate coming into physical contact with people I don't know. I'm not too found of coming into physical contact with people in general, but especialy not with people I don't know. I need my personally space.

Now, all you people on the bus, you see that little line between our seats? That little space that isn't part of either of our chairs? That's no man's land. No part of me, and no part of you, should cross into no man's land, and if you're too freakin big to respect those boundries, then stand the fuck up, because it will probably do you some good.

Plus, it was really hot and crowded on the bus, no air conditioning. Which was kinda gross, because people smell.

On the topic of personal space: I hate it when people try to stand too close to me. I don't care who you are, or what you are, but if you keep trying to get close to me and I keep moving away, or pushing you away, take the fucking hint and keep your distance. It just bugs the hell out of me when people do that.

Ohhh I am finally getting my lower back tattoo peice done ^_^ right now all I have the pentacle and it looks COOL!! It's being done in marble style!
