One of my classmates didn't make it since his mom was having a delicate operation. The whole batch prayed for him in the mass prior to graduation. I hope she's well.

I can't study... I don't know why.
Maybe 'coz the math topics are easy to understand. Maybe because we studied the year's math curriculum for an Achievement test last Monday. Maybe because I don't want to.
Or maybe it's because I keep remembering stuff from the previous years.

Been busy lately. School, RO, life in general.
Today's the first day of exams. Fell asleep while studying yesterday, so I wasn't so sure of my ability to answer the exam. Thankfully, everything was easy (except for the essay part which I wasn't able to answer correctly).
Tomorrow's math time. Damn. Have to study for that.
Made a separate journal for game-related concerns, and for a future news archive for the class guild site.
That's all, I guess.

It has been one hell of a month.
The schoolwork's piling up, Valentine's just passed, my math grade's slipping down into an abyss...
Schoolwork's been piling up. Naturally, since I am on the last two weeks of my high school life. English and math grades still in the borderlines... Nothing much changed.
Valentine's Day just passed. I hate this day. I don't know why but it affects the thinking patterns of my mind. The usual "why-does-Cupid-hate-me" sentiments. Nothing new.
Nothing new at all. Basically, it's just the monotonous life of a high school student.
Sigh...

| I'm Redundant... |

After Rych told me that my story themes and story plot were redundant, I lost all interest to write. No one's reading it anyway... Haaaay...
I realized that I'm not better than the others even in one field. I can't sing well enough, I can't write well enough, I can't draw well enough, I can't play the guitar well enough.
What to do?
Practice, of course.
So, I may go away from writing for a while. Until I gain a new outlook on life.
Looking at post-retreat events, I guess nothing has changed. Nothing except my attitude. I've been smiling more lately, positive in every thought...
What's happening to me? Somehow I imagine that life will go on, with a happy me with it...

Once again, I'm trapped in a classroom with my notebooks, pencils, and classmates...
I find myself in a prison of silence... It's hard to really talk to my seatmates, since our moderator (who was only 28 during the Big Bang... hehehehe) placed me in the worst possible part of the classroom in terms of talking.
When I go to the usual groups I talk with during breaks, I don't really get to talk that much to friends since they're either busy playing the guitar or busy in conversations that suddenly pop up when I talk.
Maybe I should make my voice louder... or my talking speed faster... I don't know.
I'm using alternate ways of conversing though... Either I'm making dialogs in my mind, daydreaming, or conversing with myself in my mind. Mizu, Kaze: Two parts of me that like to talk most of the time. Mostly self-assessment issues...
I've decided on one thing about Ragnarok. It has consumed me. What to do? Let it consume me fully, of course. It gives me temporary purpose... Well, sorta...
I know Jake or the others would never understand... It's an escape to reality. And you do get friends from it, as well as see the culture of life, as discussed in an article I made (actually, a classmate helped me with the intro... hehe.).
Anyway, I'm hoping that I don't get an imaginary friend soon... This though I highly doubt, since no one, not even imaginary, can figure out most of the thoughts in my head.

Yup, after January 1 comes January 2! And this is a very celebrated holiday among students. It's called "I-still-have-academics-to-do" Day! And I'm celebrating it right now!
Basically doing most of my homework... -_-'
But I already did the reading part early in the vacation, so all I have to do is those interviews...
Schoolwork sucks.

If the last post was the last of 2003, this is the first for 2004!
Tired right now... Just stopped jumping for about a minute... Let's see if I get taller with that, hehehe...
The fireworks went up like crazy in the final 10 mins of 2003... Still in awe.
And that "I wish we had sparklers" thing, I think my dad answered my request with this statement: "Tingnan mo sila, nawalan ng PHP 2000 para may makitang paputok. Tayo may nakita, pero may PHP 2000 pa tayo!" (Look at them, they spent 2000 pesos to see fireworks. We, on the other hand, see fireworks but we still have 2000 pesos!)
Hehehe. Gonna eat Medya Noche with my family now. Laterz.

No matter what age I get to, I'll always be enchanted by fireworks.
Too bad that I can't really go outside and watch, since I have asthma and the gunpowder's raining down from all the fireworks...
I can't believe that another year is going to pass by soon... Exactly one year ago that I wrote this on my now-defunct journal... (Vic WTF is wrong with my past journal??? Did you delete the images in it?)

I can't really comprehend myself during these times (end-of-year stuff). They say that January was named after a Roman God, Janus, who had two faces (one facing front, the other back). Well, I kind of look back at myself and look at my future as well...
I keep on wondering, "Did I improve myself? Have I grown personality-wise?" I'll let the people around me say that.
Here I am, New Year's Eve, without a significant other... But I've come to accept that now. What will come shall come, and I'll be waiting for whatever it is.
Sigh... Too bad we don't buy sparklers anymore... *Watching fireworks outside*
Somehow, I also look ahead... It's my final year in Ateneo HS, and the people I've worked so hard to know/decipher will all part ways a few months from now...
College Entrance Test results pa... I really hope I pass...
Oh well... Time to be happy for once.

I always get lucky in December.
Proof:
1. I got Third Honors.
2. I got a C+ in math, making #1 possible.
3. I passed my TD Exam.
4. The new computer and DSL deal I had with my parents was accepted.
The others are all game-related.
On the other hand, the weather has been... uncommon lately. The mornings are freezing cold, the noontime sweltering hot.
And, as always, the Christmas tree shelters only a few of my gifts (so few I can count them all with my hand). I'm a materialistic person.
Hmmm... Too much homework for this vacation too...
Hehe... Better go do my homework now...
