Man oh man. Things have been good lately. Has anyone heard the disorder in which your mood tends to follow the weather patterns? I seriously think I have it. That, or the weather follows my mood. For real though, I was really down the other day, right when the amount of rainy weather was hitting like 16 consecutive days. I had so much stuff going on.. read previous entries if you need to get it...ha.. and now, its all sunny and blue skies, and here i am. Happy as a puppy. Last night, I had a good conversation with someone. Like, we never really had a discussion quite like that before. It was nice, and put me in an awesome mood. ;) Well.. I'm done for now.. Let's see... tomorrow is young Robby's 7th birthday. That kid is getting sooo much. Its like Christmas. Seriously, i dont ever remember getting that much. Its insanity. God. haha I went with my parentals to Toys 'R' Us, and I felt like the little bratty sister who needed a present on all the older siblings birthday. Except I'm the little sister who is eight years older. We were walking in the bike section, and I go "Mom, is that such a prettiful bike?!" Its this basic bike, no need for anything more. I ride my bike to the Baum's and thats about it. But its just a pretty color. And since my old bike is jacked, it worked out. haha. Does anyone else sweat that subject quote? haha It was made by Kim. Oh my gosh, its like 5:30, and I swear to you I'm having such a shitty day, that tonight will be an equally shitty night. In my little twisted mind, I have so many issues that have been plagueing me. I had to babysit Robby pretty much all of today. I swear that he is like my freakin child. Its like my lot in life to drop everything and babysit him. And he made a huge mess today, and wouldn't clean it up. The problem is, that when the house is messy, I get freakin snide remarks from my dad, like "what did you do today?" or "what did you clean?" All I EVER do is clean up and watch Robby. Tonight, I was going to go to dinner and a movie with Kris, Noelle, & Cait(well we were planning on it) or I was gonna make plans with Kim. But, I go to ask my mom, and she goes "Well, you're supposed to watch Robby tonight, remember? Aileen and Dad are going to get her new laptop, and I'm working." That's soo fucking typical that it makes me sick. Jesus, I sound like those over dramatic people that I hate. I need to stop this. New Topic then: Well, my love life has been lacking lately. Actually not only lately. It is just lacking. Typical scenario of what happens in any potential situations : Kaitlin will make friends with a guy. She'll start to become good friends with him. She'll start to have feelings for him, but she'll play the whole denial thing until one day, she'll suddenly realize she likes the guy. Somehow, most of the time not even through Kaitlin's word, the guy will find out, and back away from the friendship. And there she is. Loosing a friend and any chance with him. Sometimes, I think that the way I begin to like guys is, maybe, more mature in how i get to it. In high school, the case often is "wow, he's hot. I wanna hook up with him." But I, on the other hand, tend to get to know a guy, slowly letting my guard down. And with me, my guard coming down is a big thing. Seriously, people tend to see me as a bit snobby when the first meet me. And that couldn't be further from the truth. I think that guard I have up is just my insecurities. In the past, whoa, i've been hurt so much. And, no, not just romantically and in matters of the heart. I've been used and abused by people I thought were friends. I've always just been that girl who was soo nice, and funny at times, and was so eager, not to fit in with popular people, not to have friends, just basically to find herself. That some times, I completely block out what is happening to me until after the fact and realize that I've been taken for granted. And overall, if there is a way to feel how I'm feeling right at this instant, is taken for granted. God. This is such a bad feeling. I feel overwhelmed for reasons that I can't even explain. I don't know what the hell is going through my mind. I've always been able to shield the way I've felt. Lately tho, I've been this emotional sap that I've never been. This is so uncharateristic of me. I normally have this great way of reflecting any true feelings I have. The term would be that I've been aloof. But I guess, that things change. What up studs? Nothing much here, if anyone is wondering. Babysitting, if thats what you wanna call what I'm doing. My idea of babysitting is doing whatever I'd normally do, just minus a parental being around. Thank God Robby is easy and can entertain himself for the most part. Let's see.. last night, I went to the mall with Allie and Kim. That was fun, considering I was soo tired, then had a lil caffeine jolt before I left, and the combo for me results in me seeming like I'm drunk. haha, I was apparently sauntering and just acting like a HUGE klutz. We walked into the Icing, and I made a beeline for this gawdy red and black feather bowa, and Allie's like "are you drunk?!" kim replies "I think she is, she has to be!" haha.. thanks guys.. haha.. later on, we were eating @ the food court, and we were discussing how that Jason kid had much to say about the infamous ghetto booty. We stopped talking for like two minutes, occassionally breaking into a rousing rendition of NSYNC songs(lmao!!!..haha), and I see this woman behind them and go "Guys. she has a bigger butt than me, right? hahah".. hahah, they turn around and like die in laughter, to see this woman with an ass, like on top of her own. haha IT DIDNT LOOK REAL!! and yes, this might sound like shameless ridicule, but it wasn't, at least not necessarily. It was a form of comfort to know that there are people out there with bigger asses than my own. I know it sounds stupid, but that is probably my biggest insecurity. But only because of the years of random comments, I shouldn't take it personally, but come on, if you know me, my ass is like a common topic of conversation. I just tend to use my oh-so-trusty sarcasm and whatnot to deflect any hint that it might actually bug me. haha.. look at me, writing like a paragraph about it, haha(thats a sign of how much it must annoy me, right?) man.. finally, a decent day outside, minus the heat, and guess what I have to do? CLEAN. My sister, Aileen, is having a friend staying with us for a couple of days, and she doesn't clean. Yes, she does work, yes, she is tired. But I'm the least messy out of the three kids, but I, of course, have to do the most cleaning. Damn Middle Child Syndrome. Anyway, So I've cleaned, watched Dawson's Creek, cleaned, cleaned, went out by the pool for 45 minutes, cleaned, and then finished cleaning. Resulting in my telling. haha My brother, Robby, is kinda funny for being 6. I'm trying to remember what he was doing.. oh yea! When I was watching Dawson's Creek, it was an episode that was a Friday the 13th one, and he was FREAKING OUT.. mind you, its DAWSONS CREEK. haha He was like, "is she gonna die?" "did she die!?" "KAITLIN..tell me!!".. he was freakin. He's quite the interesting lil boy. He's such a mini-me, when it comes to how he acts some times. I'll write more later... WAVE TO THE CAUCASION!!! -KK |

hey now.. I'm trying to write one of these thingamabobs. Wish me luck and bear with me thro my random babbling. A+ for all who do! Today, I had a conversation with someone that has put me into a euphoric mood. ha, Yes, I've been just happy, plain and simple after this disscussion. It got me thinking about a lot of things, ie: the future, happiness, departures, so on. And, gosh, this person, they know who they are, means the WORLD to me. More than pretty much anyone, but in a different way. haha, You're like my metaphorical security blanket. :) haha On a different note, I've decieded that my quest to capture a certain guy's attention is hopeless, and I tend to have a better time when I don't think about him, and am the carefree person I should be. So, forget it, you'd be lucky to have me, but I've changed a new leaf. So I don't think we'd be right for each other anymore. Your loss. haha (I'm really not as vain/snobbish as I'm coming across right now). Summer. Wow. Its been flying by, yet kinda slow too. haha.. Today, there is 28 days til Labor Day. Ick. And if there isnt at least a week's worth of beach days, I'll be soo pissed at you mother nature. You're making summer a bit of a sham. haha Well, I'll be sure to write soon, Til then. -Kaitlin |
