[09 May 2003|12:47am] Da~ It's been awhile since I've made a wallpaper for my desktop, here's what kitty made just awhile ago ( And does he cry through broken sentances... ) For the first time in all week my head wasn't killing me, that was the high point of my day=D I'm serious, last night it was so bad that I actually got off the puter at around 10:30 and just spent the rest of my night watching Kare Kano.... how I luff that series.... Today I woke up, watched a little more Kare Kano and noticed that my head didn't hurt, yatta!XD Taking advantage I began on chores and whatnot; putting away dishes, washing dishes, sweeping, throwing out the trash from the kitchen and bathrooms, and got to some much needed laundry. Then I finished watching the Kare Kano series for what seems the hundredth time... Ni.... I wish the series didn't end the way it did... I was actually curious about seeing the play, I wanted to find out more about Kazuma and Tsubasa, and Souichirou's dillema with Tonami=P Da~ I know the manga goes futher... but I just wanted to be lazy and watch it >^_^<;; Also I need to get the North American DVD that has the last ep.... my imports don't subtitle all the text that's on the screen *puts head down* baka kitty for not learning kanji Hn.... ah, I guess I'll show that Kamui icon I was talking about the other day >^-^< ( ...That I love you far too much... ) I've been wanting to make graphics, icons, and a new layout lately >X_x< but my head had hurt so much all week that I couldn't bring myself to do it... Demo, tomorrow I could start up again on brainstorming, and also I'll get started on a little tutorial with screencaps to show how I do some of the stuff I do >^_^< Sometimes I get asked about how I do what I do, I don't mind answering, in fact I love to help >^_^<;; Problem is I have a lot of trouble wording myself, which is why I'll need to rely on screencaps, it should make it both easier on my end as well as the reader's=D ( You are my sunshine, my only sunshine.... ) I recently downloaded the first ep of Tenchi Muyo! GxP... when I first heard of this series awhile back I was kind of disheartened that it was a Tenchi series without Tenchi or the girls=( That's what I always felt made the Tenchi series so special, ne? How the characters interact with each other and how they manage to get themselves in akward situations, not to mention Tenchi's forever indecisivness=P But anyhoot I digress, ne? Upon seeing the first ep I have to say that it seems... interesting, I mean at least this character didn't seem so out of place, from the sounds of it he's familiar with Tenchi=P The Yamada boy has to be one of the dorkiest characters yet though; he's worse than Ataru, Keitaro, and Tenchi all rolled into one.... but it's still cute >^-^< What can I say? I have a soft spot for dorky characters in series... I think I'll give this one a little attention... move onto downloading a few more eps before I decide if I like it or not=3 I also downloaded Hikaru no Go (I'll watch it tomorrow), the Inuyasha movie (again tomorrow) and I'll probably leave GTO downloading when I go to bed so I can have a peek at that series=D I also downloaded a couple of Kare Kano eps, just to get screenshots >^-^< Well I suppose that's all, ne? I take my one way street... [23 Apr 2003|01:26am] Today was a pretty good day... For a great while now I had the great craving for a teriyaki bowl, I woke up this morning and went to throw something away in the trash to find a Yoshinoya ad taunting me... meh.. no one was home, I was tortured by the coupons! *shakes paw weakly* 5 minutes later (oh what a long torture,ne?=P) Mum drove up and I greeted her at the door like a puppy with the ad in hand... d00d! She actually took me to get it!XD That one desire was filled.... the glory! I'm more alone with you than when I'm by myself... [12 Apr 2003|03:15pm] Chuu..... Long week >X_x< I haven't been able to make icons or anything, boo! Heh.... little things in life muse me, this being one of them >^-^< Well.... I went to my interview thingy, to say the least I feel like a jackass at these types of things >.> Didn't get any call back.... oh well, being rejected once more can't hurt.... can it? I shoulda worn the Mickey Mouse ears... at least that way I could say I got something out of going all the way to Costa Mesa=P I need to be out of my room by the end of this weekend, I really like the idea of living in the garage.... don't like the idea of not having internet access till the 26th >T_T< Bah! Hey Mr. Wonderful.... [08 Apr 2003|01:56pm] [ mood | amused ] Gah!!! Make it end! I've been too busy lately>X_x< Yesterday I had to put a closet together >O_o< The thought of kitty actually putting anything together is kowaii, ne? Afterwards Monkey and I were sent on an array of errands >X_X< only good thing about that is that we got to go to Mitsuwa >^_^< And that's when I got pocky (I got to try Milk Pocky!XD) and 6 bottles of Ramune >O_O< It was on sale! 3 for $1.98 (one bottle costs $1.25) Afterwards we went to Kinokuniya where I bought the new issue of Zipper >^___^< an old one of Nakayoshi (manga magazine that has Tokyo Mew Mew) as well as book 8 of D.N.Angel *purrs* shoo purdy.... Afterwards we headed home to where monkey used my puter to talk to her new boyfriend, >O_O< Yesh... she has a new a new one, and I just played Sonic games=X She says she likes her new boyfriend because he's a lot like me >O_0< for some reason that freaks me out.... Da, break from jibberjabber, I got a new desktop picture now!XD It's by HybridRainbow, she posted it over in Blues World community and it's just too sugoi~ ( hold me, I want to feel your arms.... ) After a few anime, some game play, Joe came over >^_^< we all decided to pick up Monkey's new love and drove around aimlessly! I got to get a Cherry Slurpee over at 7-11 (the one by my house doesn't have Cherry:'( ) it was kinda fun, and ultra funny that when monkey tried to tell Robert (her boythingy) about going to Mitsuwa he was correcting her on how to say it >^_^<;; I never wanted to break her little monkey mind in trying to explain that it's broken down into three parts when saying it (mi-tsu-wa) I usually don't like correcting people=P We stopped playing like at around 1:30Am, it was decided that we should all go home >^_^< I came home, checked over a few things and whatnot, then slept=3 ( Love me, because only you can.... ) Mew, I wanna make stuffies.... but I have to do more "required" thingies today >V_v< Monkey's boyfriend also asked if I could make him a Mononoke Hime AIM icon.... I will never be able to give up on you [08 Apr 2003|12:33am] Ano.... yesterday was filled with suprises, Da dropped in after I finished watching some anime >O_O< I was suprised to say the least, I honestly never thought he'd come over=X Sissy called since she couldn't come, she's kinda busy making sure everything is set up and whatnot before she leaves on her business trip on Tues. >^_^<;; she said she'd give me a pressie when she came back and that we'll go to Melrose >O_O< Dunno.... might be fun, ne? Remember how I said mum wasn't good at keeping secrets? Well she already spilled the beans on what sissy got me, a PS2 with Kingdom Hearts >O_o< Only sissy could think of that perfect gift.... afterall I took after her in gaming >^_^< Meanwhile to hold me over sissy had sent me the "House of 1000 Corpses" soundtrack to tide me over, sadly I haven't been able to hear it yet.... people get angsty when I play loud music around here, and if it's Rob Zombie it's sure to be loud=X Also mum whipped out a few suprises herself, DVD's >O_O< She got me "Red Dragon", "Hannible" (even though I thought the book was waaaaaay better=P), "Amelie" (Yay!), "Rushmore" (I found this movie terribly funny=3), and "Romy and Michele's High School Reunion" (C'mon, it's just pure comedy=O) Monkey ended up coming over last night, we just walked around aimlessly at the Block like a couple of old people around a neighborhood, we actually wanted to see "Spirited Away" but missed the last showing since we couldn't leave the house till a little after 10Pm:( Sissy was asking if my birthday was a big let down, I merely told her that I don't really expect anything at all, she didn't feel that was a good way to look at it *shrugs* I've learned from different experiences that if you expect even simple little things you're let down... er... rather I am=P I wanted to thank and just give one big uber glomp to priestessmars for the birthday greeting, and to shunsuke_boy, jagerboi, asalienapua and gazza for you're wishes!X3 I appreciate it very much shoo! Maybe I'll draw a picture tomorrow to show my excitment=D Today wasn't all that good.... I was feeling kind of sick and was dragged out of bed rather early, well felt like it, just to do tidius stuff.... that's never fun=P I immediately went back into my bed and curled up... Watch me break, and watch me burn... [02 Apr 2003|08:21pm] Skittle's gone... Today we took my kitty to the vet after convincing mum last night that she really wasn't doing too good, she couldn't even walk much >._.< They took X-rays and said that she had a tumor in her chest that was pushing against her windpipe and there was nothing they could really do about it rather than just put her to sleep.... I already knew it'd come to that seeing how she was.... but I'm still pissed off.... I told mum that she didn't look good on Friday, she just thought Skittle just had like a little cold or something, I suggested the vet. Monday came around and mum was talking to Bob about it, he had his two cents and said "You're just going to take her to the vet to waste money so they can tell you she's going to die" so with that mum decided not to take her >T_T< That wasn't the fuckin' point! If she was suffering that much I would have rather taken her earlier so they could put her to sleep instead of her just sitting around and suffering! Geezus! Doesn't that make sense!? I know a lot of people may not understand... but that kitty was my friend, I loved her dearly.... I raised her since Boots' had her five years ago and now she's gone... I'm happy that she's not just suffering anymore, but I still miss her.... I won't really be online tonight, maybe later on... but right now I'd just be a downer. I'm sorry I haven't really checked my friends list lately, I've been feeling unbelievably tired lately and I have no idea why. I'll go play video games or something.... When all ish said and done...
