i am so incredibly sleepy. i find that i write more when i'm sleepy; the thoughts just tend to fumble their way out of my brain in random spurts. like, why am i trying to use proper punctuation (hey, i almost couldn't think of that word) but not bothering with capitalization. i suppose it's a net speak thing...the ways tend to mix themselves up with me sometimes. maybe i just want to be clear. sure that people are understanding me. but that wasn't a sentence. neither was that. oh, bah. i miss someone in my life. i miss the way they made me laugh. i miss hugs. i miss being able to rest my head on someone's shoulder and just be comfortable. i practically live for just another human's touch sometimes; it's almost sad. (was *that* proper punctuation? i have no idea.) i'm not the kind of girl who's going to mope because there's no "special someone" in their life. I (wow, I wanted..again! to capitalize) simply crave touch. it's like a connection for me in some ways. I'm sure I've expanded plenty on that subject before. Wow, where did the capitals come from? In other news. I work too much. Way too much. (okay, now my grammar is going out the window. ah well.) 8 days a week, i lo-o-o-o-ove you.. moving on... was on vacation last week (ahhh, they're gone!) and it was the most glorious thing that's happened to me in almost a year. that, and not having dyed my hair in almost a year, lol. that's a feat for me, if i do say so myself. this keyboard is hella noisy. damned wireless keyboards. haha. vacation was fantastic, even if i didn't go anywhere. i got to sleep until nine am. that was glorious. i can't remember the last time i could sleep til nine am. i'm either at work for an hour/hour and a half during the week or just getting to work on the weekends. thankfully tomorrow i don't have to be at work until two pm. yes. although, i probably won't be able to sleep past 9 or 10 am anyways. i remember when that was still majorly early for me. guess i'm lucky i don't have a kid. which reminds me. not that i'm going to share that with you. lol. i partied a bit, made myself stay up late just for old time's sake. haha. that makes me sound old. i'm only 26 for cripes sake. someone told me this past monday that i looked about 22. and was shocked that i will be 27 this year. yeah, i'm old. haha. i want another vacation. |

Hello! I am in fact, alive. I don't know why I don't update, really....perhaps for the same reason why I don't really update my LJ with anything anymore. Sometimes I get in the mood to, and then lose all train of thought. [shrug] What is a girl to do. In other news, I am officially a year older. Marked by the fact that I got only one birthday card (from darling Simon, thank you so much :) ) and a whole lot of drunk. D'oh. I'm beginning to wonder if my liver will ever recover...sheesh. I took an extra day off of work and it was a blessing..I slept. I miss sleep. :D Yes. Watched a bit of football, had a fantastical dinner Saturday night, and sang karaoke. People actually told me I sounded good! [/watches her head inflate..just a little :D] Maybe those lessons really are paying off..finally. It made me happy. Anywho, that would be the extent of my rambling, methinks. Off to catch up on some House and then probably try to sleep. That three hour nap earlier didn't help matters much. :P |
