Surely the Police should have better priorities?!
A mate of mine recently blogged about getting fined £80 for taking a drunken piss in an alley. I had no idea that you could get fined for this, and £80 seems like an obscene amount of money for this when parking fines are only £30. Also, at 3am, surely the Police are better served, you know, breaking up fights or stopping drink drivers rather than sculking in alleys looking for blokes who are desperate for a slash?! But isn't that the priority of the Police these days? Good, decent Police Officers with morals are forced to tow the line to keep their job and do what makes the Force the most money rather than what does the most good.
This also got me thinking. If you owe the taxman money because of a mixup, you have to give it back. Does this mean they'll do retroactive piss fines? If so, I owe thousands!!!!
